  The staff is absolutely outstanding! It was our 1st time there and they treated us like old friends. The restaurant is one of the finest my wife and I have eaton at in a long time. Terrifice service, food is great, womderful presentation, and great value for the price. - Rooms were great, food outside at the beach bar called the Nazbar also gre... hva folk sier » at! Inside a restaurant called the Blue Bistro, wonderful breakfast. Your right on the lake, plenty of chairs and use of kayaks and pedal boats. Boats come in and out for the bar. Good time!

  The Margate is a large and resorty hotel (we tend not to go for any hotel with "resort" in the name) and we got exactly what we expected. However the lake to the rear is wonderful and the highlight of our entire two weeks in New England was probably a meal (very good value) on the little jetty as the sun was setting over the lake (although three ... hva folk sier » pints of the excellent Harpoon IPA may have served to enhance the overall picture somewhat!). And the lady at the bar was wonderful. - I enjoyed the hotel very much. The front desk staff was exceptional, friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed the front lobby very much, I had a friend stop by to see me and we were very comfortable in the seating area, it was very quite and comfortable. I would diffenately come back to the Margate!!

  The Inn only has 34 rooms...I am hesitant to describe how lovely/wonderful/relaxing/peaceful this place is as I want to make sure that there will be a room available to me when I come back. The charm of a B & B with the amenities of a small hotel. A best kept secret of the area...will definitely be back! The res - It was absolutely beautiful. The room was so lovely! The staff pleasant and helpful; the meal was excellent; just a perfect stay. And, the prices were reasonable. Dinner viewing the lake and sunset; the most comfortable bed; gorgeous decor. I would truly expect to pay more and it was such a pleasant surprise not to feel "gouged". I will most definitely make up reasons to go back. Thank you for restoring my faith in quality with the person's overall experience in mind.
