  Everything! Place was immaculate, big, in fact it was so spacious that the tv in the living/dining room appeared small. 30' away. We will be going back again today. Staff was accomodating and friendly. Met all expectations. Balcony was nice for morning and evening meals. - We only stayed for one night. The staff were very friendly, the condo wa... hva folk sier » s very spacious and clean. We didn't get to use many of the facilities because of our lack of time. Next time, we will book for a week.

  We love the location - close to the downtown, which we walk to for shopping, dining, etc. We especially enjoy sitting near the ocean watching the breakers crash onto the lava rock. The bar is fun, and the special $75 dinner for two was exceptional. This was our 3rd visit to Royal Kona Resort, and Liz, check-out clerk said we should call ahead to t... hva folk sier » he Manager requesting a free upgrade to an ocean view next time. That would be lovely!!! - We liked the location it was ideal for access to shops, restaurants and trolley bus which takes you all round the area, it is also nicely situated on the beach with it's own lagoon.the restaurant and bar are also situated overlooking the sea which is really nice while dining especially as the sun is setting.

  It's an older resort but that is not a problem at all. Fabulous resort facilities, very clean and comfortable room (partial ocean view) with great service. You can't swim in the ocean directly from the hotel but it is such a dramatic location as the resort is positioned directly on lava rock. Views of the ocean are stunning. Watching the manta ray... hva folk sier » s from the restaurant and bar was beautiful. The location is terrific with plenty of beaches and bays to explore. A hire car is a good idea. - Beautiful location, spent the most of my time at the resort because it was so beautiful and relaxing. Amazing pool to sit back with a Mai Tai and watch the sunset. Watched the manta rays feeding and ate delicious 'spider shrimp' at Rays on the Bay. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay there again myself
