I left some gifts I purchased in Costa Rica in dinning room at hotel. Staff found it and noticed it had my name one package. The clerk look. Up my name on registry and attempted to reach me. Twice!! Wow! Great, honest people. Thank you. J.Gutierrez. Food in restaurant was very good. Service was attentive, though a little too quick to ask for next course requests before I'd finished current one! Room was comfortable and clean. Transport to/from airport excellent and free (unlike London!).
alle vurderinger » The hotel was nice and very clean. Beds were comfy! But what I loved the most was the excellent customer service I received from the lady at the front desk. She was very kind and friendly!! The bar was a plus too! Definitely recommended!. Ideal hotel for those travelling in and out of the city. IAH is only a few miles away and access to car rental is close by. Excellent shuttle service to IAH and Deerbrook Shopping Mall. Pool outside great to relax before/after travel. We were there for the night on our way to the airport the next day so for us there was no problem with the location. I found the rooms clean and the bed comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel let us park our car in their parking lot during our trip, which saved us a ton of money (instead of paying for airport parking). And the rate for our hotel room was very reasonable. Friendly staff, very convenient airport shuttle (every half hour), swimming pool as big as on the letsbookhotel.com pictures, dinner menu with enough choice for a stay of several days. I liked the restaurant, as a solo traveler it was great not to have to worry about where to eat. My son recommended it to me as he often stays there on business. Fitness center, attached restaurant, comfortable bed. Staff was kind enough to relocate us when we appraised them of items in adjacent box. Very clean, well appointed and efficient staff. I had a wonderful waitress at breakfast in the restaurant (Anabel) and a very cool bartender (Linda) the night before. The front desk guy who checked me in and the the woman who checked me out the next morning were friendly and efficient, but it took a couple of phone calls to get the shuttle. Nice staff overall. I like that there was a restaurant downstairs so I didn't have to leave the hotel. I left my cell phone charger, Brenda from housekeeping along with another young lady was very sweet about shipping it to me. It's near the airport, has free shuttle to the airport, clean and relatively spacious. Near airport, and near highway, which makes it a good business hotel. Shuttle and breakfast were fine. Noise from traffic. Soundproofing not good. Distance from reception...would not be good for someone unable to walk long distances. Wasnt the best location for my trip because my event was in the reliant area, but that's my fault. What I didn't like is the computer or work station was not functional. I found the three computers old and neglected. Only one of the three computers worked so you can imagine how difficult it was to get a chance to use the computer. In this day and age, having workable computers is important to the guests. Food was good, staff was friendly. I can't think of anything negative about this hotel. My room had a communication door with another room, which didn't really block noises - you can't blame people for talking at 9 or 10 pm, but it can be really annoying when the guy next door is in conference call at 2:50 am!. First room assigned (556) had no TV,empty coke can on dresser,no towels. Second room (506) was fine except neither the sink nor tub drained properly and the shower control was very hard to operate (wife did not have hand strength to control it). Taking a shower resulted in standing in ankle deep water each time. Kids playing on the computers provided for hotel patrons trying to make business connections. The shuttle. Bad service. I landed and called for the shuttle bus around 3:10. Now it's 3:55 close to 4pm and no shuttle. Was on business trip wanted to relax before I got started. I couldn't relax and had to get right to business when I got to the hotel which by the way I took a taxi. This was really disappointing. I hope in the future it gets better. was in a room next to the boiler room and phoned front desk at 2 a.m as it was impossible to sleep due to noise coming from the boiler room (the noise had not been there the night before). Was given a new room in the morning after a sleepless night just wish it was offered at 2 a.m. but in all fairness I did not request one. Nothing. Very cramped bathroom. Nothing. noisy air conditioner. minor bed problem. not so clean bathroom. 45 minute shuttle bus wait. No syores close by. The hotel was fine; the surrounding area was kind of dreary and the city itself is one that I'd only ever visit on business. I really thought it was a little overpriced for what it actually was. One of my keys didn't work. One of my lamps didn't work. I booked a room for 2 people and only received 1 washcloth. Price. Toilet is too cramp, shuttle may be full and the hotel has no arrangements for additional shuttle but must wait half hour for the next one. It'll be better if they have a sign-up sheet so that they know how many guests want to leave at which time. Had to wait quite long at the airport to be picked up considering the distance (>20mins after the initial call). The fact that you have to call wasn't explained on the website, so I waited for 20mins already, as the airport shuttle used to be around without having to call. Swipe card to get into room kept not working, and the staff weren't overly helpful in trying to sort this. After trudging up and down to my room to test the door, and getting a replacement card which worked, it also turned out that the door handle needs to be pushed up, rather than down as is conventional. the quality of the food was mediocre and overcooked. Well for one thing they updated their computer system when I was there – it was a mess. The food and service in the restaurant is poor. In generally the Hotels in USA cannot compete with European or Middle East standards. The duvet closer aren´t clean thats why I feel with allergies. My reservation was included beakfast and they say that i need to pay. It's so scary and isolated when you are alone. the food wasn´t good. No refridgerator. Not very friendly ! Disorganized. Took 59 minutes to get picked up after calling. Shabby entrance. Not what we expected from internet discription. It was suppose to be closer to the airport. Installations look old and not so clean Perhaps to expensive ($177) for the type of hotel. Aircon was not working properly. No hot water in wash basin. Very expensive for the price charged and facilities offered. It smelled badly and lacked quality for the pricing. rude front desk staff.
