  The staff were superb. The location on the Bar Harbor coast was unbeatable. The buildings and grounds are exceptionally well maintained. My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary and spent six nights at Bar Harbor Inn, and my wife has since told me that my selection of hotels was perfect. While in Bar Harbor, we made it a point to try as many ... hva folk sier » restaurants as possible. The meal at the Reading Room was our best experience. The lobster pie was incredible! - Great location, very clean, nice room, easy to park next to the room, great continental breakfast, great view of the ocean. It was a short walk to town. For picking it sight unseen (except for pictures on the Internet) we were very pleased with choosing the Bar Harbor Inn and delighted with the overall experience.

  Our rooms were very large with great toiletry amenities. The hotel is in a great location, just 5 minutes ride to Acadia Visitor Center and to the restaurants, shopping and pier. The big indoor pool with the hot tub was a great addition to relax after a long day of hiking. There is also an outdoor pool, but we didn't use it. Tasty cookies were served at the lobby in the afternoons, they were great addition. - The staff at the hotel were great. The view out of the window in our room or in the great room were worth the price of the stay. The evenings had a pianist with fingers that danced across the keys stimulating memories of yesterday. Both of the pools were spectacular with the indoor pool area reminiscent of scenes from Cocoon. The view from the Looking Glass has to be the best view in the area.

  The staff was very professional and courteous. We were greeted with an upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite with water views that was very spacious. The location was great-walk out your door to the ocean and to town for shopping and meals. The pools were beautiful with great poolside meal and drink service. All in all a great stay. we will definitely return. - I loved this hotel it made my stay that much better It had a very warm feeling I loved the fireplace in the lobby The pools and the hot tub area Where it was on the harbor just perfect A lot nicer than I thought it would be very well maintained Although people were working on the hotel for example the maids were never in your way and very quiet Very unusual which I liked - The staff was warm and friendly. The harbor was very close . Shopping was close. Restaurants were close. The hotel restaurant was very good, with good service. The lobby was warm and inviting and always had a fire in the fireplace. Judy the grounds-keeper did a super job on the flowers and plants....beautiful! She took time to talk gardening with me and I learned great tips.
