I thought the location to the beach, golf course, & restaurants was ideal 10 of 10.
Further down, the jacuzzi bath, sleeper sofa, & small kitchen setup were fantastic 9.5 of 10.

I really loved this hotel! It has an elegant design, and it is just right on the beach! Amazing!!
The room was big, and the bed very comfortable, cherry on top: Aveda products for you to use in the bathroom. I highly recommend this hotel!!!

I loved the service at the hotel. A small misunderstanding initially and immediately comped a couple of services for me. Every single staff member we encountered went way beyond the call of duty to make sure that we enjoyed our stay.
We must commend Bill Sutton, Head Concierge, and his staff for especially excellent service. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to San Francisco.

We were extremely pleased with this hotel. The location was fantastic and the extra touches.....coffee, tea & hot chocolate in the morning, wine, beer and hot cider between 5 and 6 and then cookies later in the evening made the stay even more pleasant. We were able to get a great price through letsbookhotel.com and the room and the staff were great. We would definitely stay again.

Rooms were very comfortable and clean; I was a little nervous upon arriving and seeing how old the place is, but it became very clear that they are constantly upgrading (brand new Kohler bathroom fixtures) - nothing is too old or outdated. First, I found that staying in Alameda as opposed to San Francisco, our destination, was not a bad idea at all. Parking is available and included. The room was spacious and clean. Continental breakfast was excellent; it included everything you would expect in a decent hotel. - Excellent buffet breakfast, helpfulness of staff
