The boss and the staffs are all so friendly, helpful and nice. The hotel
is also lovely, there is a big garden with many beautiful flowers and
facilities. It is very quit and natur. When you just want to find a
place to enjoye a silent and casual vacation/weekend, it is a dream
hotel. But if you want to visit cambridge, you mus have own car, or you
are ready to pay for the taxi, because it is not in the cambridge, but
outside. Anyway I will suggest this hotel to anyone else. alle vurderinger »
Quirky. Different. I couldn't categorise it. All healthy food and different. Cosy room, spotlessly clean. Friendly goats and chickens in the paddock. Big doubledecker bus in the caravan field for karoke, which was on but it didn't disturb us and finished well before eleven pm. Staff bent over backwards to be friendly and helpful.
There seemed to be a lot of confusion before the date we arrived as to
whether we had a room or not - letsbookhotel.com seemed to have let the three
rooms be booked out 5 times! Drinks were very expensive.
Hugh was a brilliant host
The place is run as a not for profit establishment and is quirky and really one to tick off your list
Kids loved getting involved and loved the animals
Food was superb.
This B&B was quiet & efficient,it was rather unusual in its Decor, and there was a surprise round every corner ! Has to be seen to be believed.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The shower and toilet facilities. Privacy was good and the pub was great.
The food the staff and location.
Comfortable bed, pleasant staff, short walk the White Swan where a good meal can be had when the Sock's restuarant is closed.
Nothing,to be brutally honest, sorry the shower was so strong it left me
bare chested !!!!!!.
Not much! Friendly conversations but the staff did not have enough knowledge to run the establishment to a reasonable standardnoise . It certainly could not be described as a hotel and it is not even a remotely good B&B.
The food was very good and the staff were very friendly.
The large. It is to fast to cambridge(with taxi 10min./15Pound),
there is no direct public traffic, just a bus in the near(10min walk)
and it dosen't come so often, sometime it delays even 30min and you
don't konw if it would come.

The restaurant was closed Sunday night but the owner opwned the place
for us and cooked us. Fantastic meal.
The bed was rather narrow for 2 people, who have been married for 52 years, and still going strong!.
The breakfast. Expensive.
Would have been nice if had been busier.
Glass door to room with very thin curtain, felt a little exposed, even though I knew there was no-one else staying.
The room was cramped, the bed which practically fills the room is to
small for a couple,and I am 10st 12 dripping wet,the continental
breakfast was worse than a Travelodge....When asked about a full
English the night of our stay,we were informed that this was not
allowed by the owner, even though it states on letsbookhotel.com that this can
be arranged,if required. At £80 a night this is in the realms of Dick
Turpin...Highway Robbery.
The 'Garden Room' was very inadequate with only a high window therefore no view. It is right alongside the A14 and traffic noise persistent.
The room was situated on the back of the pub in the car park and only had a basic wooden door so it was incredibly noisy. People congregated outside the door smoking and talking. This was made even worse by the noise from the adjacent main road.
