In a quiet residential location, The Homestar offers bed and breakfast accommodation, 10 minutes’ walk from the sandy beach. It has free Wi-Fi throughout, and free parking on site available for most rooms. Each room is elegantly decorated, with an en suite bathroom, a TV, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Some are on the ground floor, but there is also a stair lift for guests to use. There is a well-stocked bar so that guests can enjoy a drink. There is also a lounge to relax in, and a patio area in the garden. Skegness shopping centre and the Clock Tower can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. Skegness Rail Station is less than 10 minutes’ walk away.

The hotel was just a 5 mins walk from the seafront and also from the town centre, Annie was very friendly and helpful, nice quite street with parking and the room was better than we thought, The breakfast was great with loads off choice from the help yourself breakfast table as well as the cooked English breakfast, The Homestar is worth booking for that weekend get away, and we be going back at the end of October for sure.
alle vurderinger » Owners very friendly couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast nice just enough to put you on until dinner. Location for us was good very quiet street. Parking to the rear of property although having a big car meant we only just fit through. Wifi in rooms good idea if it worked very low signal meant only basic usage. No good with teenager who wanted to play on iPad in evening before bed. An excellent quite location, with extremely helpful and friendly family owners and staff. Great value for money. High quality and variety of breakfast, Rooms were very clean, modern and had excellent shower/bathroom. Would definitely recommend Home Star to anyone visiting Skegness and we will be visiting Home Star again. James & Kathleen. The twin room was excellent very spacious,breakfast was laid back what ever time you wanted Annie would oblige.room was very spacious, bathroom ok and shower was great. Car park ok but a bit sparse because of the area so in height of season might be difficult but all the hotels are the same . but would go back again. great place to be super staff super comfort what a pleasure it was to stay and i will be re-booking for my next getaway rooms super clean no be offended to much about the egg comment just takes a little more cooking to resolve that. super place to stay five star .thankyou home star. everywhere very clean,beds were really comfy. breakfast was great. only stayed for 1 night, but will definitely be going back in summer hols with the kids and friends! good value for money,in a quiet location and only a few minutes to shops, beach etc. The hotel proprietor was very friendly and helpful on arrival even giving us a choice of room.Breakfast was very good too.The room we stayed in was very nicely decorated with a lovely bathroom.Hotel is only about 5 minutes from the seafront. We found Annie a friendly person and the breakfast was good. nice handy location for all the facilities Annie was helpful in telling you where interesting places could be found and a map was supplied all in all an enjoyable couple of days. Rooms were bright clean and well decorated, bathroom was nicely tiled and clean . comfy double bed and bright duvets. Breakfast very nice but not enough for the blokes. Hospitality really good. Would stay again and mention to friends. Liked how you chose specifically what you would like for breakfast by filling in a form. Also liked the friendly atmosphere and the family room was great the bath was great and the kids loved the bunk beds they felt right at home. The owners/staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. Rooms were cleaned each morning once we left. Great location as just a few minutes walk to beach, shops, and arcades. Plenty of places to eat nearby also. really enjoyed our stay, breakfast was always ready and piping hot nothing was too much trouble hotel within walking distance of town and beach but not too close to noisy pubs even our handbag size dog was welcomed. The owner was very good to us and the breakfast was very good .it was nice and clean also quite .would stay there again for sure.the only thing I was disappointing in there wasn't any baths only showers. Friendly staff very helpful. Room was clean' comfy and well equipped. On suite had towels and toiletries supplied. Food was excellent. Would recommend this hotel to anybody. 10/10 for excellence. The room was beautiful and the asian lady that greeted us was such a lovely woman, it was one road away from all the shops, beaches, very quiet area too, lovely outside area! Really loved it. Annie was amazing making sure we was ok It was very clean and hygienic me and my partner felt at ease really relaxed breakfast was delicious a really nice atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and helpfull, the owner were very accommodating and were able to be very flexible on any other of our needs!!!! Coming again. We only stayed for one night but would highly recommend the Homestar. Able to check in early, hotel and room were very clean, location was excellent as right next to town, able to come and go as we pleased. “Excellent staff. Nothing too much trouble for them. Excellent breakfast comfortable bed. Could not fault it. Great value for money”. Everything was great, warm and welcoming vendors, excelent customer service. I have recomended this to my peers. There nothing that we didn't like about the Homestar. Our room got cold in the night no heating through the night meant our 17 month old kept waking up. No bad points. breakfast was good apart from egg was raw...hash browns could make a good breakfast great.. chef please give more attention to the eggs. the shower took some adjusting as it was attached to the taps, but got it to the right temperature in the end, after a fair bit of fiddling!. There is nothing I didn't like about this hotel. Shower was too hot unable to turn down. Breakfast, would of like a bit more. Perfer butter and jam sachet on table and able to butter own toast. Didn't like parking car on the side of the road we ended up finding a space quite a few streets away. It would have been nice to have parked on a car park. cannot fault anything even the weather was perfect. nothing it was perfect. not much off a view but we wasn't in the room a lot during the day. Nothing. Unfortunately one of our single beds was sloping & my husband ended up with a bad back. Rooms a little dated. No complaints at all. nothing. There was nothing we did not like. It was not busy so I could park in front but lack of parking could be more of a problem during busy months. bedroom was cold although landlady said heating had now gone on, when it did come on it went off quick, we had an electric radiator but was asked to use this sparingly as it was very costly. and there`s never enough tea condiments in any of these places. coming away. Nothing. As we were the only residents, we had a reduced scope breakfast, but the staff did everything they could given the circumstances. The price of the hotel was very expensive and their was nothing to show for it. Nowt it was perfect. nothing. nothing i didnt like.
