Lovely old house, not a straight line in the place! Located right in the centre of Sandwich, can get anywhere in just a few minutes walk. Comfy room, lovely bathroom, great breakfast and friendly host. The sound of the bells adds character and are only loud with the bedroom window open. I slept fine through them with the window open, my wife decided to use the supplied earplugs as she couldn't be bothered to close the window!.

A landlord with an enormous heart - Not only did he and his wife drop us at and pick us up from our hovercraft adventure, when we were muddy and soaked he let us wash up in our room well past our check out time and even refused to accept any extra money. Can't thank you enough for making us feel so welcome :). The host and his wife were exelent peole very friendly, made to feel most welcomb,the rooms were very confortable and there was nothing the host would not do for you or your comfort . I would recomend this B&B to any one for business or pleasure. Will certainly be going back. First class all round. It is a charming small bed and breakfast in the heart of the old town and yet with a 'tucked away' feel. The room comfortable and the ensuite bathroom large and well appointed. I enjoyed chatting to my fellow guests over a tasty cooked English breakfast. The host was very friendly and helpful. The friendliness of the owners. This was our third visit to the place and we went for our wedding anniversary. My husband arranged for them to put flowers in the room, but without asking they also put up a banner, a helium balloon and had a bottle of wine on ice for us. It was lovely. Kelvin was very friendly & helpful. I was offered spinach with my poached eggs which was great. We had the apartment which was roomy & the bed was really comfy. This was our second stay & we would definitely use again. Almost everything, but especially the warm welcome, the peacefulness of the location, the secluded garden, the cottage and the made-to- measure breakfast. We were made to feel very much at home by the kind, thoughtful owners. The age and quaintness of the building (1730's), pretty walled back garden, central position within historical town - everything was within walking distance and a good selection of eating places. Friendly and hospitable host. Kelvin was very friendly and extremely helpful. The b + b was v well updated while in keeping with its origins. It is a lovely town + the church bells didn't bother us at all!. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Lovely room and excellent ensuite. Nice breakfast, plenty of choice of cereal and as much toast as you wanted. friendly and welcoming, great location, good breakfast, we found St Peter's a perfect place to stay for a trip to Sandwich. Would certainly recommend. Town location good. Sandwich interesting place to walk around. Cafes, restaurants and pubs very good. Hosts very welcoming and friendly. The cottage was very clean, bed linen crisp. Staff were really friendly and accommodating. It was in a good position in Sandwich. Very friendly owners who showed us round this very old house. B&B is a sixteenth century building and the church chiming very quarter of a hour. The toilet is very spacious'luxiourious, the bathroom on its own worth all the money. Bed could have been softer. One could feel the springs whilst shifting positions. There is nothing that I found to complain at at all and that is on all levels. Guests should be aware that driving in the middle of town is very difficult. It is easier to use one of the public town car parks overnight. You do need earplugs if you're a light sleeper as the church bells opposite ring regularly, but the owners do supply these for you, and it does add to the charm of the place. You do need earplugs as the church bells directly opposite do ring a lot. I learnt this after my first visit & on this second visit I slept much better. Just thought that the cottage's front-door inner bolts could be brought back into service so as to back up the Yale lock. Kelvin could put this right in a few minutes. Nothing!. Nothing. The cooked part of the breakfast was mostly fine, except the grilled mushrooms were a little dry. It wasn't clear if there was any other choice of breakfast - a continental such as croissants would be nice. No tv/radio in room. There are church bells ringing regularly but you can here these in Sandwich where ever you stay. We got a good nights sleep though. Nothing. There was nothing we didn't like. Nothing. No. Nothing really - it was fine for our brief stay. Having to share a bathroom with five other people thus making the price over the top in comparison to a room with en suite facilities. Cold & Basic Shower Room Church Clock - loud & chimed every quarter, impossible to sleep Describing the detached "cottage" as sleeps 4 is stretching it - good double bedroom but extremely basic sofa bed in lounge, not big enough for more than 1 adult or 2 small children.
