Really warm welcome,greeted with a smile...the location was brilliant,right by the sea with lovely views during breakfast...had a balcony with sea views too...shower room was very well done..nice and clean and very quite..good atmosphere... Excellent level of service,staff attentive at all times, food of a very good standard, accommodation good apart from plumbing problems in room 18.. Overall an excellent stay. Felt at home.
alle vurderinger » The hotel's location is superb. The staff were helpful. My brother and I took my 11 year-old grandson for a four-day break, and he enjoyed it very much, The food was good. A bit oldy wordly but still fantastic. I would gladly go there again, better than the Hotel down the road already covered in Christmas lights (not even November yet). The table service at both breakfast and dinner. The room attendant was most efficient and capable.Reception staff were equally efficient and helpful. Location on seafront was stunning. Yummy breakfast. Lovely staff. Big double bed for single occupancy. Amazing views at breakfast table. we enjoyed the food, the pool the Jacuzzi ,steam room, sauna. the walk along the beach. the views from the bedrooms. tremendous setting, very friendly staff, good food,well proportioned room,the pool and spa were a bonus. Nice room with lovely view over bay, good amount of parking. Good pool and sauna. i liked the setting off the hotel ,the staff were very friendly and helpful,. Outstanding value and night porter Wayland is a star with late arrivals. Thought some toiletries could have been provided,some shampoo,and other small complimentary treats would have been a nice welcome...bed was a little uncomfortable,multiple thin sheets did not suit me would have liked just one thicker one.. WiFi not as advertised, only available in reception area. room 18 needs the plumbing attended to. Takes 5 mins for the toilet to fill up, low pressure need to be sorted. The indoor pool would have been excellent but it was far too hot. The outdoor pool was not available until 9am and we would have liked to have a swim before breakfast. Strange but true, wifi strength was not the best. The advert illustrated by the booking agent tended to indicate, by photograph ,that the room which I was drawn to book,was not,in fact,the room which we were subsequently allocate by the hotel. Water pressure very low, difficult to shower etc. Decor dated but immaculate. the room was a nice size it was ashame the bed was too small. not strong enough wi-fi signal, had to go to the hall area to use it. Breakfast starts a little late, wifi was intermittant. the de core needs updating. Drab colour of room. The view from my window onto the solar panels. Pillows were very flat, needed new ones. Main lounge could have been laid out better. re-locating rooms twice during seven nights stay. nothing. overheated bedroom. Areas not manned at all reasonable times. I bought a bottle of Chablis for £28 which was so young and acidic that it made me feel unwell, leading to a lost night's sleep. nothing. My room, bird droppings on the inside window frame. No non slip mat in shower. Not well placed after asking for disabled parking. Décor tired needing update. Not in keeping with advert. Based on my room 62. Out of date - facilities were not good including facilities in the room - tv, shower, everything was very old, tired and dated. For the price paid, i would have expected it to be more up-to-date. The heat of my room on arrival. The outrageous cost of lime and soda. The quality of the evening meal and the late (8.30 am) opening of the indoor pool on Sunday mornings making it impossible to swim before breakfast. poor food poor accomodation rude manager.
