The accommodation was within a stunning location, next to a secluded beach area with beautiful views from any angle. The accommodation as clean and has very good communal areas i.e. living area and kitchen. The staff were very friendly and the hostel provided a very good atmosphere. It was children friendly and there was no excessive noise from other residents within my stay. Finally it is extremely good quality for money, i would highly recommend.
alle vurderinger » The location is amazing, right on the cliff top, just a short walk to 2 beautiful beaches. There was a great atmosphere on the Friday evening in the beer garden, overspilling onto the cliff top. The staff were very friendly and obliging. The breakfast team seemed short staffed (just 1) but he was calm and helpful and efficient (lots of people would have turned into Basil Fawlty). Good food too. Would definitely stay again. The kids loved it. The location is beautiful with excellent walking and proximity to the Camel Trail, and good public transport facilities. We loved the music on Saturday night-and the fact that it ended at a reasonable time for tired walkers! liked by both me and my 15 year old granddaughter. good croissants and plenty of coffee.It was unusually hot and windows ha. Location, location location!!! Great staff- friendly, helpful and dynamic. Basic comforts to be expected but fully content with what we got for the price. Kids loved it. Crisp, very new, fresh linen. It is pricier than I was expecting for a youth hostel. Didn't like making the beds up (seeing naked pillows/duvets!)- happy to remove bedding the morning after so not about effort, just don't want to think who else has slept in my bed!. no one on reception next morning to say goodbye. Nothing- go expecting basic living and you will not be disappointed, especially if free spirited. Very loud in the morning with people apparently clattering up & down the stairs continually between about 6 and 8am - made it very difficult to sleep. Think this might have been families with young children. This is the one thing that would stop me staying here again. Also the shower was cold. DREADFUL SCREACHY CHAIRS in dining communal area!! Fine if you like the sound of metal screaching along slate every 2 seconds, quite unbearable!. sharing room with my noisy child.
