Hva folk sier
Ease of everything, no check in required as your provided with keycodes
to rooms, cheap, 3 beds in room, only needed one so had a ridiculously
large room. All the mjb's are walking distance to city centre. No
problem checking in early as cleaner had already been or leaving car in
car park after check out as no staff to tell you off so got to walk
round the city without paying for parking. Can make as much noise as you
like as no staff to be complained to, we and others took advantage of
this so. alle vurderinger »
The facilities were excellent. The room came complete with Wifi; an ensuite bathroom; the room was immaculate; the room was well decorated, included a flat screen tv, microwave, as well as tea and coffee facilities. I was very pleased with the room and would definitely stay there again.
I liked the location which was about a mile away from the city centre
and had a frequent bus service just opposite the hotel. The room was
lovely, spacious and clean. It was a nice quiet location as well, which
definitely added to my experience.
Light airy room, bright bedding, and well equipped.
Easy access via pre sent out key code
Well positioned for both Norwich and main routes,
Fantastic fish and chip shop very close by.
We liked the location and the fact the room appeared clean and tidy with almost everything you could need for an overnight stay. The price was very good for a late booking.
Clear directions as there are few mjb hotels but they specify which room
and which hotel you are going to! With codes on doors as there is no
reception staff.
I always stay at MJB hotels when I'm in Norwich, the location is great and it's hassle free, Cheap and clean.
The Tea making facility, the mirrors were all easy to use, no keys to worry about.
Comfortable beds.
i had to leave my wife for few days and i knew she was safe.cameras and locks on main and room door.
Nice comfortable room, warm and clean. Easy to book and lovely just to come and go as you please.
Very functional, for excellent price. Best value for money hotel/appartment I have stayed in uk.
Very reasonable rate, and a clean room very basic but comfy. Ideal for a night out in the city.
The cost, no booking in fuss, nobody interfering with do's and
dont's, all basics are there.
The facilities available.
Room was quiet despite being next to a main road.
I like the helpfulness of the staff and the great value for money.
The location was just a short walk to the city centre.
Comfortable, close to town & good value for money.
easy access to all amenities rooms basic but clean.
Room cleanliness. Excellent value for money.
location perfect and value for money .
For what I paido was very pleased.
it was quiet and we could relax.
Near city centre parking price.
Facilities for catering good.
The location and the price.
Location, value for money.
Practically everything.
very good value.
price.
We liked the independence that just checking in with a key code at any time gave us. The price was amazing. I liked having our own fridge, plates, bowls, cutlery, tea and coffee facilities.
The maintenance man was friendly and did his best to assist us. He
replaced the tv when it would not work and he got us a fan when we
requested it.
Good location for bus and city center- room is alrigt for the budget hotel, but mattress broken and duvet is not clean.
The room was far more spacious and well laid-out than I anticipated and
in a good central location.
The room was spacious and contained items and facilities for a nights stay.
tea and coffee facilities in the room. bedding was clean. room was warm.
Cheap and basic, all u need for a quick stop over.
price cleanliness and convenience to city centre.
Receptionast most unhelpful.
value for money
location.
close to city centre.
close to town centre.
Not a lot other than it was only twenty pounds and was a marginal improvement to sleeping in the van! It's a shame as I think they have a good idea with the low cost unmanned service however I do feel they could increase the prices to £25 per night which would still offer a low cost room and then spend more money sorting out some of the problems with the hotel.
I like the location and the facilities within the room eg.. Bed tv.
Not a lot not sure what other parts of the site was like.
It was warm and the location was very good.
I stayed in room 8 was ok and 13 was good.
location and price were very good.
good location, nice building.
Price and large television.
The mjb signs are pretty ugly and plastered down the streets, although
this means you can't miss them, they must be an eyesore for locals!.
The fridge was set to high and froze my milk and ham I had purchased for lunch. I'd recommend turning it down to a lower setting so future guests don't experience the same problem.
The only things I didn't like were the condition of the toilet in
the ensuite bathroom which had dried faeces stuck to the very bottom of
the toilet, below the water line, which looked like it had been there a
while and it wasn't very nice, but having said that the toilet on
the whole was clean.
No response to emails x 2.
Barely pleasant staff member waking me up by entering my room at 11.15pm telling me I was in the wrong room, and still telling me that after I had shown him the email proving I was not. No reply to email when I emailed regarding this the following day.
The windows were painted ( no doubt to save on curtains ) which did not matter apart from the fact the lighting was very dim. Also, if I were staying longer than one night, somewhere other than inside the toilet door or on the back of a chair to hang my clothes.
Room did not get replacement items when I stayed for 2nd night or the
rubbish bin taken off.
Shower was pretty poor in room 6 at the beeches. Could barely get water to come out of it this morning.
The difficulty in getting back into the car park late at night. it was almost full.
bit dirty and needed attention, however during our stay owners were painting and fixing up the rooms.friendly staff and worked through the night so didnt disturb us.
No remote for TV took ages to work out how to turn tv on etc. 2 more pillows would have been ideal.
Having to enter key codes.
4pm check in is a little late.
Lack of car parking space when other guests park badly.
The bathroom at the Beeches had a keypad on it, but no notice to say what the code was - I had to phone!.
nothing not to like about Norwich.
Door to room rubbing on frame so hard to open. Showerhead did not fit wall bracket. Car park quite small so had to put car in adjoining car park.
Over bath shower fitting would not hold in place so it was difficult to shower . Previous stays were better as room had a shower cubicle , which was so much better.
Could be charged for damage which is worring as all rooms which we have
stayed in in your hotels have a degree of damage to fixtures and
fittings etc already. And can only make contact on line if we have
concerns at the time.
It was very hot particularly in the corridors . Floor got very wet when showering.
The smelly sink. The uncomfortable mattress and having our room number and door code change without warning.
Confusion as to where we should go on arrival. Gardener let us know
someone was in the locked office. Suggest confirmation e-mail be more
explicit to rooms exact location.
We could not see out of the windows in the Hotel.
full postal address where we ended up staying would have been nice.
dirty windows cobwebs.
There needed to be extra pillows. Perhaps divide rooms into smoking and non smoking... Ours did smell slightly of smoke but not too bad. The worst was having nice sachets of shampoo provided but which were impossible to tear open.. Suggest take own scissors and extra pillow. But concept is great.
The room was dirty and hot. We saw a hairball on the bathroom floor.
The windows were nailed shut which made it very difficult to sleep
without a fan.
Bed is a bit dirty.
There were no staff at the Beeches where I stayed and so didn't know
if I had to check-in or not. The room (room 5) looked like it hadn't
been hoovered for a long time and the radiators were stuck on, meaning
the room was very hot and uncomfortable, not to mention uneconomical.
The room had not been cleaned very well. There were hairs on the toilet and in the basin in the bathroom. There were also dust and hairs in the draws and cupboards within the room. It didnt help matters when I received bites to my ankles in the night.
it's pretty basic but for the price you get what you pay for!.
Beds didn't seem to have clean linin, was also worn out mattress and very squeeky bed. Ensuite wasn't the cleanest and only had a couple sheet of toilet roll.
having no curtains on windows just glass painted out so you could not see out.
few things didnt work in the room.
since my last stay ALL THE WINDOWS IN THE ROOMS are whitewashed - WHY???? Reasonable place and rooms but now claustrophobic!.
very noicy, full of screaming teenagers.
no toilet door
very dated interior.
Didn't like that the windows were painted out and two panes of glass missing and filled with cardboard and gaffer tape.
Poor customer service from the staff who answered the phone. Room that was big enough and had enough sockets however it was stinking of dampness and ultimately this put me off completely.
Some of the facilities don't work well eg: shower and tv I rang up to say and mjb said someone will come out and they never did they then told me the next day a contractor came out while I was there when they didn't. Mjb aren't very good at responding to you with equiries or problems.
Décor
No cups or milk
No privacy in the rooml
Cold water tap broke and water leaking everywhere
no where for clothes
Not worth the money to sleep in a garden shed.
The sheets were very dirty and the floor wasn't cleaned either.
Staying in room 10. try fixing the damp problem in bathroom rather than trying to hide it with air freshner. after this room. will not stay here again. Will be contacting you to try and exchange room.
Although the bed linen and bathroom were clean, the carpets and walls were in a poor state with considerable staining.
The room was also very cold when we arrived as the heater had not been put on.
awful stench in the corridor, hot tap didn't work, no soap.
Worst shower ever, no light bulbs in hardly any fittings. Would never stay here again!!.
