We were especially impressed with the restaurant which in addition to the a la carte menu also had different chef specials each evening. There were comfortable sitting areas where one could relax and a beautiful garden.
I liked the layout and decor downstairs, the food and the friendly staff, the chef even gave me the reciepe for his delecious sweet potato chips. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable I have had in a hotel.alle vurderinger »

Super Staff, so accomadating and really went the extra mile for us. We
ordered irish coffees and they had run out of squirty cream for the
floater so they whipped up cream especially for us...
Good quality hotel in pleasant grounds. Comfortable room, excellent breakfast. Made a sizeable booking for a family event and were very accomodating to late changes.
Our stay at this hotel was very enjoyable and we wished our visit had been for a longer period. The staff were extremely pleasant and very willing to please.
We liked everything. Comfortable room, wonderfull views over the grounds, lovely food, both in the evening and breakfast. Would like to visit again.
The location and the food. The gardens are beautiful and we were able to eat al-fresco. Attentive service and the place was very clean and welcoming.
The staff when we checked in and in the evening were first class, professional and friendly, made us feel most welcome. Loved the grounds.
Everthing was perfect, wonderful room with 4 poster bed. Restaurant menu
superb and all staff were wonderful, would stay here again.
The restaurant, the bar and the friendliness of the staff (especially Peter).
(Question 2 above is beyond my comprehension !).
Surrounding of the hotel and good security with the electric gates and car park locked. Food very good only had breakfast.

Comfortable v friendly staff good food.
Friendly, cosy, clean. Near to town.
Location, Garden, Frendly staff.
Calm location.
Service and attention to detail excellent. Meals were very good.
Countryside scenery was beautiful .
Location -nice view from breakfast room
Dog Friendly.
A minor point - I would have liked soap tablets in the bathroom rather than the liquid variety.
The fact I couldn't stay longer!.
Nothing loved it all.
Breakfast could have been better. We went for continental and the toast
was cold and the croissants were solid, not light and fluffy how you
would expect. The staff were different on the Monday morning to the
excellent service we received the day before.
The ONLY negative is it's unremarkable from the road, but is in fact a very well extended building.
There was nothing to dislike.
Bed size - should be a queen size at least for the superior room we booked.
Breakfast staff need re-training in customer care. Very noisy room from the room above.
Shower over bath, prefer a walk in shower.
Room 28 a bit noisy from staff accommodation next door (clonking shoes on floor and noisy shower) and underneath staff room.
There was nothing to dislike.
no dislikes.
bathrooms a little dated, but still ok.
Shampoo was in a glass dispenser making it difficult to use.
Very long walk up and down stairs and along corridors to get to our room. But it was worth it.
breakfast felt a bit rushed.
Nothing.
Distance from reception to room.
Nothing.
Variable quality of food, poor soundproofing between rooms, Lack of comfort in room.
No bad points.
Felt room was slightly overpriced.
Not terrible but not good either. Room small and in need of a refurb. Not very good for the money. You can hear a pin drop in the next rooms so don't expect much sleep!.
Being woken up at 7:30am by the staff doing the waste and bottle bins.
