Staff here are very friendly and really look after you. I was travelling alone and for most of the day to get there due to living so far away and travelling by coach. They made me feel very welcome.
Room was very nice and bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good too. You can have your cooked breakfast which comes with toast as well and you can have more toast if you want and there is cereal which you can help your self to also. Very comfortable stay :)
Also this isn't in Leeds a. alle vurderinger »
The Midland Hotel was a real find - a little gem. Dont be put off by the
main road setting, the night was peaceful and very quiet. The staff were
welcoming and attentive from the outset - even the customers in the bar
seemed keen to show some good old Northern hospitality. The
accommodation was clean, well decorated and comfortable. I applaud the
way in which the owners have moved with the times in the creation of a
coffee shop and the conversion of the stable block into letting rooms.
The succ.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Midland Hotel. The staff were great and made us feel very welcome. The location was excellent for what we wanted (shopping in Leeds - the train station was only 5 mins walk and only £2.80 return), and very easy to find. We stayed in the family room so more than enough space, plenty of teas/coffees in the room and the bed was very comfy. We only had breakfasts at the Midland but they were good and plenty of choice. We would stay here again for similar trips.
The hotel was easy to find. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The menu catered for all tastes and the food was fresh, well presented and of very good quality. Breakfast was also very good and the staff were happy to serve what you wanted if a full English was not your choice.
Mandy was extremely helpful. Something went wrong with our booking,
we cancelled a single and booked a twin, however The Midland
didn't receive this information from the web site. Mandy was
still able to accommodate us and was very apologetic, even though it
wasn't her fault.
The staff were very welcoming and made us and our two large dogs very welcome. This is one of the best dog friendly places I have stayed in especially as the rooms open directly onto the courtyard so you do not have to disturb anyone going in and out with the dogs.
The Pub where the hotel is based has a good evening menu for food and is
excellent value, the breakfast was first class .The rooms albeit compact
were good value against a larger chain of hotels , very friendly
,attentive ,and helpfull staff.Free Wi Fi.
Location (near to the city centre). The bar menu was fine but last
orders 8.30. The hotel name is slightly misleading - this is a typical
pub with annexed rooms. The staff were great and the breakfast was
cooked fresh to order and was nice.
The staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. They made particular effort to ensure our dogs were looked after and that we had everything we needed. For an overnight stay on the way to Scotland it was ideal.
Rooms were great as were, like little cottages. The outside seating area was lovely to sit in. The staff were very attentive, polite and professional. The food was delicious.
Staff, very friendly and helpful.
It was 'Steak night' night in the pub when I stayed and no deserts were on the menu but when I enquired, the Chef made something specially.
The Stable block where the rooms are looks lovely from the outside and the beds were very comfortable. Meal in the hotel pub was good, and breakfast was totally delicious.
Hospitality outstanding.
All members of the staff team pleasant and approachable which made our second stay here so comfortable.
This place is a hidden gem.
This was a very good value stay
I had a good pub evening meal and the real ale [Landlord] was in good condition. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.
The room was very clean, tidy, spaceous and the food food was excellent. I will definately use the Midland when next on business in the Leeds area.
The Midland is excellent value for money. Lovely acccommodation and the staff cannot do enough to help you. Would recommend.
Breakfast was very good and cooked to order. Excellent freshly made coffee. Young staff all very pleasant and efficient.
Nice place to stay, good breakfast, clean, comfy and great staff. Great alternative to Leeds centre.
Outstanding service by staff
Flexibility of breakfast and check-out time
The upkeep of the room.
Excellent friendly staff who want to make your stay the best. Fabulous breakfast. Dog friendly.
Lovely room, clean, tastefully decorated with lots of thought gone into it.
Friendly staff.
Suited me for the reason I was visiting Leeds.
I was nursing my terminally ill cousin.
Friendly staff - couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming - particularly Lee-Ann.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to go back there very soon.
Very nice room and nice pub
Good breakfast. not far from Leeds centre.
Close to motorway routes to leeds and surrounding shopping complexes.
Friendlt staff, good food, great value, free wifi in room.
Very friendly welcome. Comfortable room. Lovely breakfast.
Very friendly and helpful
Good breakfast included.
Staff were brilliant. Room clean and comfortable.
Good breakfast , room warm cosy. Dog friendly.
Friendly staff clean room good location.
Very helpful and friendly staff.
Excellent food dog friendly.
Room was nicely presented.
friendly and very clean.
Everything.
Everything.
Decent enough room for the money, Friendly staff.
Room was quiet, clean and staff very helpful.
Clean room. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Plenty of parking space.
Not really anything bad to say other than the phone signal in the area isn't that good for Internet which is why they provide free wifi but even though they gave me the password it just would not connect on my phone but don't know why.
The only issue we really had was the duvet! It wasn't big enough for the bed, however it the room was warm enough so didn't cause us too much of a problem.
Nothing to dislike.
You will probably have to leave your car in the pub car park , and will
always be of concern as its on a busy road , make sure you leave no
valuables on view ,as it was quiet we were able to park in the yard
outside our room. Its more a b and b than a hotel ,.
Fairly busy road to emerge onto in the morning. The stable rooms open
straight to the outside (as pictures) this has problems with weather and
noise with the gravel outside. Also pergola area (about 15 mtrs from
room) appeared to be haven for youngsters to gather to smoke etc. They
were very vocal when I arrived but thankfully they had gone by the time
I went back to the room. Bar prices a little dear for the type of pub
(£3.62 pint).
There was nothing to dislike.
The pub was a little dated, considering it had a new coffee bar attached, it could do with a make over to keep it in line.
Wifi didn't work in my room.
The pub was in a different style to the rooms. I had imagined a country setting and an old-fashioned pub, as the photos suggested this.
The mirror over the basin was too low - but hey!.
Unfortuneatley the hotel does not have a seperate resturant, bar food only.
Although the location is good it is situated on a busy main road.
The black gunge around the shower bowl.
the rooms could be bigger but still good value for money.
Unable to get wifi signal. But then I didn't ask for help when I had difficulties.
Nothing to dislike.
The pub was a bit more workman like than the rooms - which were really very good indeed.
I felt that the staff would be helpful if required.
I just needed them to order me taxis which they willingly done for me.
Staff very pleasant.
There was nothing about the hotel that we didnt like.
A bit out of the way.
Daylight coming through the window too early.
Nothing.
Room a little small. Pub seemed to be full of men interested in football. Didn't feel comfortable enough to eat our evening meal there.
The bedroom a bit small for mor than 2 people.
Does need some blinds at the windows.
Nothing.
No bath and very dark room with only one very small window.
Pub was very noisy when we sat and had adrink.
Heating hadn't been put on. Room was Baltic and took a while to heat up.
Room small, bed uncomfortable, towels torn and tatty, the room smelled stale and the toilet seat wouldn't stay up! Curtains only just covered the window with some careful arranging, not good as the room opens straight on to the car park and smoking shelter.
Food in the bar was ok but the decor was old and the seating dirty and stained. This hotel is in need of re-furbishment and is not good value compared to others in the region.
