The hosts were delightful & managed to get that (sometimes difficult) balance of friendliness & professionalism just right. They could give courses in customer care! The rooms were well thought out with attention to detail & breakfast was just what we needed to start our day. Let's not forget that the chef stayed on after hours to prepare our dinner as we arrived late. We've already started recommending this place & will definitely be back :).
alle vurderinger » Rooms very clean, nice view of the church, restaurant on arrival was busy, a good sign it is popular and was backed up by good honest and well prepared food. Breakfast was also excellent - hot and also well prepared, not your usual grease-feast. Staff very friendly. peaceful and quiet,nice room,good food,friendly atmosphere(hosts and staff),good location.Definitly the nicest b&b ive stayed in(we both thought that) and will definitly stay there again and the we were made to feel so welcome. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast- plenty to eat. Also ate at the pub for Sunday Lunch and food was excellent. Also loved the position in a quiet thatched roof village and close to nature walks. Paul, the manager, made us very welcome indeed especially with his sense of humour. Evening meal and breakfast were both excellent quality, with generous portions. from the moment we arrived on a horrid wet and windy night we were warmly welcomed by Paul. The rooms were just right and the food was excellent and plentiful. Warm welcome, superb meal in the restaurant, comfortable bed and bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Everything was first class. Well placed for A303 and M5. The staff and service excellent and the food out standing I would tell my friends and family and anyone whom was traverling in the aera to stay there. The staff and food was excellent, especially Paul the relief manager who was very friendly and made your sure we had all we needed. A comfortable room with good facilities that was clean. The Food. only 2tiny things-not the most comfortable pillows and the bathroom door didnt close properly without having to slam/pull it hard. N/A. Nothing. the only drawback that I can think of is that I couldn't get wifi. Nothing!. There was nothing to dislike. Rather difficult to negotiate stairs for a disabled person. N/A. Traffic noise. Room a little noisy as at front of building on main road. no shaver socket in bathroom. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. none. Bathroom unclean and mouldy in places, no shaver point in the room or bathroom and tv very small (not that we needed it). Closed on arrival 1600 hours. Despite paying for room on bookings, there was no room at the Inn!!!! We then had a struggle to find accommodation for someone who had travelled all day at 8pm.
