On arrival, I was immediately impressed by the friendliness and helpful nature of the owner, Pearl. A wealth of local knowledge together with maps helped us find an excellent evening meal {Mandarin Royal-well recommended!] The room was fine, clean and well appointed. The breakfast was pre-ordered the night before with a good time window, and was good. As we were meeting our tour group at the ferry terminal at 12noon, there was no pressure on us to vacate the room early , and Pearl's husban.
alle vurderinger » Our stay at Holyhead Lodge could not have been more warmer and friendly. Mel and Pearl were fantastic hosts and made us really feel home from home. A level of hospitality we've seldom met! The accommodation exactly suited our needs : a double room and a twin room. The accommadtion was clean comfortable. TV and Free WiFi were available. The lodge is sitated in a quiet area of Holyhead. The breakfast was absolutely first class. Next time staying in Holyhead? Holyhead Lodge once again! Bode Family. Arrow and Lady were amazing - you have to stay there to find out why ;-P Both Mel and Pearl were very welcoming and as good a host as you will ever find Rooms were tidy self sufficient cabins with extremely comfy beds A good breakfast spread - do make sure you take advantage of the seasonal fruit provided Overall - impressed with the attention to detail that was placed - its the little things that make a big difference. Met Pearl & Mel as well as the two boys. Pearl was an excellent host and made sure I was very comfortable, the breakfast next morning was the best I've ever had, I would recommend this Bed & Breakfast to anyone looking for accomodation in Holyhead. A very nice family that looked after me like I was part of it, well done. I was made to feel most welcome from the start; the owners Mel and Pearl are lovely, friendly and helpful. I had a very nice comfortable room and the Lodge is situated in a quiet area only a few minutes away from the Town Centre and station/ferry terminal. Great breakfast!. Hosts were wonderful, friendly made us feel at home. Very helpful with accessing a doctor & then a chemist. Went out of their way,driving us there & back. Also recommending an excellent place to dine at night. Owners were friendly and helpful. They treated us like family. Beds were extremely comfortable. A bed and breakfast where the owners have thought of everything. Homemade breakfast with many options. Owners were wonderful. Cooked to order breakfast was great. They went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. Although the room was small it was adequate and comfortable. I very much appreciated that the proprietor stayed up till 1am to await my arrival (from late ferry) and took trouble to explain the accommodation and breakfast arrangements. The owners were very friendly and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were clean and had everything we might need. The hosts were very nice, helpful, and accomadating. Breakfast was great. The location was close to the ferry port. I would stay there again. My stay sadly was very short. Loved the comfortable bed. Hosts were great couldn't do enough to make guests feel welcome. Very warm place. very welcoming people would recomend to all.i will stay ther again lovely place whith great lanscape..fantastic place allround........ Location was a bit remote - but they do offer pick up and drop off services (we didnt require them during our visit - but useful to know that it exits) Although there is a sign outside - i have to say, we werent 100% sure we had arrived at the right place at first May be a clearer welcome sign will do the trick - or a bell at the gate?. There wasn't anything I didn't like. Room & bathroom a bit too small, OK for one night but not for more. City is kind of small and more a summer location. No dislikes. The shower was a bit hard to adjust! The water was either too hot or too cold!. Time in wales was so short. Nothing I didn't like. What's not like! One of the nicest places we've stayed BOOKING. COM SHOULD SAY THERE IS FREE WI FI AT HOLYHEAD LODGE. Nothing. Unstable wifi. The double room was small & the duvet too heavy for the time of year. There was nothing we weren't happy with. Difficult to find, but a phone call to host will fix that. Was a bit tricky to find. I didn't find the door to the mansion when I arrived. A better placed sign would be helpful. The bathroom was very tiny and the toilet seat would close before you could sit on it!. Nothing. sitting in the room. Room small and bathroom very small and difficult to use. Room was over-priced. Streets aren't well labeled so if you are walking and think you should have reached the B&B go just a little further. However once you know the area (takes 5 minutes) it does not seem as far.
