I loved the decor, lots of funky contemporary furniture mixed with some classic pieces, The food was excellent and the atmosphere laid back. The hotel is easy to find and situated not far from Castleton and Bakewell. Very well thought out and modern hotel in a traditional building. location. Kind and friendly staff. The room was spacious and clean; Importantly, quiet. Breakfast was served early enough to ensure that I could comfortably attend my meeting. I would certainly recommend the hotel to others.Contempory but cosy feel and magnificant view from room. The atmosphere and staff were very friendly. the location is beautiful in the valley. Very relaxed, friendly staff. Hotel and gardens refurbished to a high standard - stunning views from restaurant. It is more popular so we cannot always book at the time we want to go. Heating was a bit too intense... room was hot even with all the windows open.Midges!. food slighty fussy and over priced, inclusive breakfast should include english breakfast. the continental breakfast included in price was very average, a full english would have been far more preferable.it advertises 100+ sky channels but only about 10 were available to use.
