Situated beside the River Dee, Coed-Y-Glyn Log Cabins feature modern facilities including a Bluetooth hi-fi with iPod docking station and speakers on a decking area. A sunken hot tub for 5 people is also included.
A covered outdoor balcony is featured in the Coed-Y-Glyn Log Cabins, as well as a second-floor living room with 42-inch HD TV and Nintendo Wii. A gas BBQ is located on the decking area, along with table and chairs.
A wide variety of activities can be enjoyed at the on-site centre, such as rock climbing, mountain biking and kayaking. Wine tasting and bike rental are also available. Many long nature walks can be enjoyed in the local area, and the Welsh heritage railway line runs alongside the river.

Absolutely first class on every level. We travel extensively and some of the 5* hotels could seriously learn a thing or two from the Customer Service here; very relaxed but nothing too much trouble. Beautiful hideaway, very tranquil and picturesque. The Lodge itself wanted for nothing; tastefully decorated, impeccably clean and everything thought of. The cabin was extremely well equipped with everything we needed and the Davies family are wonderful and welcoming. The views from the cabin are breath taking and the river gives it a certain charm. We loved popping out for walks to explore the countryside and the kids enjoyed every minute. The hot tub is amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend here! Will definitely return in warmer weather!!.
The scenic location and facilities surpassed expectations. The hot tub was a particular favourite. The staff who showed us into the cabins were polite and friendly. The proximity to Chirk castle for Wales Rally GB was as expected. Could not fault either the service or facilities, the cabin was immaculate with stunning views, comfortable beds and adequate heating. Would absolutely visit again.
What a location! Standing on a veranda BBQing just feet away from the river in open countryside was more than special. The lodge was superb....everything you needed and more. And the hot tub? That was the finishing touch. We have booked to go back and spend New Year there.
This was a fantastic location to Visit North Wales, the Davies family who run the buisness were very helpful and friendly. We could not fault the Cabin at all. It is simply a wonderful location and the Cabin's have a fantastic aspect to look out onto.
Everything! A warm welcome, excellent facilities, beautiful location, and even the weather was on our side! Mustn't forget the crowning glory......sitting in the hot tub on our last night sipping champagne, perfect.
The family who owned the cabin were lovely and helpful. The cabin was absolutely amazing with stunning views. The location was ideal for access to all of the different tourist attractions.

The log cabin was spacious and clean and everything was provided including BBQ with gas, tea and coffee and even soap and towels.
