Very helpful staff and the convenience of location.Location and service. the friendly staff. The location. It was an ideal location and plenty of facilities for all of the family to use and enjoy.Terrific location, very nice hotel, would certainly stay again if in the area. the swimming pool and the facilities were brilliant, good breakfast too!. The wifi-access and prime location. Leisure complex. Comfort of bed. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at the Best Western Falmouth. The staff were extremally friendly and polite, nothing was to much trouble for them. The food was very good, we were surprised at the good value for money. We were also impressed that local produce was being used, like cornish cheeses. The location was great, right opposite the beach and only a 10 minute walk away from the town centre. This was my second stay and a much better experience. The room was a lot larger. Would recommend taking swim wear and gym clothes as use of pool and gym is free when staying at the hotel. Wouldn't normally stay in a "chained" hotel, but the location of this hotel is amazing. The hotel was really clean and the food was excellent. The position isreally great, just opposite the beach. Parking was difiicult at certaintimes of day.Friendly atmosphere, the hotel was easy to find and well-located on the sea-front. It was also only a very short walk from the main town centre. location, cleanliness, friendliness of staff, the swimming pool, etc was lovely. Swimming, playing pool eating in the bar. Good food and drink. Bar and restaurant facilities. The leisure facilities. availability of good bar food in pleasant atmosphere and available for reasonable amount of time ie easy to eat having arrived fairly late in the evening. A thoroughly enjoyable stay, excellent room, good food and friendly staff. Staff in the Restaurant were particularly good. Would visit again. Good swimming pool, lovely breakfast. The food and the decor. Can't really say - arrived midnight and was up and away by 0800 Hrs next morning, without breakfast! (Didn't have time). I have stayed there before though, so that's as good a recommendation as it could get, i suppose. the pool area was good and much enjoyed by the children. Staff were very friendly. The spa and fitness facilities. The Food was also great.Great views , staff helpful and good value for money. Breakfast facilities, location, sea view, parking. Nice friendly staff and beutifull views. Breakfast. the veiw. The view from the balcony. The view from our room. A very good breakfast. Very helpful staff at the swimming pool and the restaurant. Swimming pool was lovely, no deep end: not out of your depth for the average adult and also very clean. The situation of one was lucky enough to get a front sea-view room. room layout with kids ,good pool etc. The Facilities
Facalities. Location. Its proximity to the beach and easy access to the town centre.nice location and the hotel is clean. The swimming pool-it was clean, well staffed and a good size also jacuzis available. Location and convenience. Pool area. There was a problem in trying to obtain a drink from bar with local residents being served first, however once this was pointed out it was rectified immediately. When i book'd the hotel i book'd a room with a double bed and a balcony how ever when i check'd in and went to my room it was very small with twin beds and no balcony. When checking out i was told there was a mix up and i was given a room for a person who was working on a ship witch was in dry dock in falmouth. Room was clean and tidy but small and very warm and not what i had book'd. We were very disappointed that we had 2 single beds pushed together in a double room. Consequently we had a ridge running down the middle of the bed and the duvet was too small. The room was very hot and it was not possible to open the window because of the security chain.our 'double' room was clearly two single beds pushed together, which didnt make for the best nights sleep ever. Lifts were small and stairs from 2nd to 3rd floors could be signposted more clearly. No bed linen provided for 3rd perso in room although this was quickly rectified when it was pointed out. Stain on the bedding, and lots of stairs. Bathroom could have been cleaner, the shower mat had mould on it and room looked worn. It didnt take advantage of the views in the bar area and ground floor areas generally. Also bar area seemed very bitty, no areas to congregate around ie. fireplaces!!. Having to book the restaurant for dinner. Decor a little tired. Evening meal, expensive and quality rather poor. The indifferent manner of the reception staff upon arrival. Nobody smiled or welcomed us and they seemed board and uninterested in their job. There were two weddings taking place this weekend and the hotel bar was open for 24 hours, we could have been informed an email would ave been nice, but when we told the staff that we were kept awake until 3am they did not seem to bothered. Reception staff were a bit cold especially compared to all the other staff in the hotel.Reception staff need more training. restaurant staff misled me about lunch on the last day and me and the family left without lunch- got ill with a dodgy meal onthe road later - hard to forget these things. Room Service Breakfast was cold and only delivered for one instead of two. They seemed to have set the double room up for one person - one towel, etc. short on toiletries and he 'double' was two twins pushed together. checkout was early at 11am - it's a hoiday hotel and can't see why they can't move it to midday. My only point of concern is that I believed that I would be charged the full amount of £90 by yourselves, I was then charged £45 by the hotel I am currently unsure if I have payed you £90 or £45. This is not clear at the time of booking. HAVING been put in the attic was very warm no air con. Breakfast was okbut a bit more imagination would not go a miss and the piped music coulddo with updating. We wanted to dine in the restaurant but the menu forthat evening would only be put up at 6 but you had to book before 6 fora table so you did not have much chance to make you mind up this couldbe put up at breckfast time. Breakfast service fell short of expectations. Refreshment of the hotdishes was slow and fried eggs were often over-cooked. Bacon was thickand chewy. Our favourite tea, darjeeling wasn't available. Finding ahotel parking place was very difficult. Service is poor, had to wait ages for orders of food and drinks. Only a few friendly staff.poor service at breakfast, bedroom handtowel in rags( it was replaced on request)size of room was very small and I would have preferred a cooler duvet suitable for the summer. Restricted car park, building kept too hot,. Matress very uncomfortable, breakfast staff poorly trained, quality of food poor/average. I felt that the hotel was dated, we were in an outside area and it was pouring with rain. You could hear nexts doors room very clearly. There was also a big wedding party and we felt in the way. I do not think it was good value for money.Very old fashioned hotel, it should be mentioned that the bar closes at11 - 11:30, with a loud and obvious bar gate, after which you have tofind a night receptionist for a drink, who disappears quite often onrounds. This was a very large factor personally, as I prefer to stay upbeyond 11:30 on holiday. Even though it is a largely 'older resident'hotel, there are many younger residents.
