It was an ideal overnight B&B to give us a pleasant break on a long trip. We tried to book to stay on the way back but there were no vacancies - which was hardly a surprise as the visitor's book was full of nothing but praise. The breakfast was superb. Great welcome from Helen Hitt - she greeted us and offered us tea and biscuits in her lounge, even though we had tea and coffee facilities in our room. Breakfast was excellent as well. Great stop on our way to Cornwall for a family holiday.

Approx. 1 mile walk or drive to the nearest pub/restaurant but otherwise I would strongly recommend. The silence in the evening and no city lights - reminded me of my childhood days on my grandfathers farm. Just what I needed to rest. You get to see animals and nice views of Devonshire. We were welcomed very friendly and as we had my sisters dog there was not a problem. The breakfast was excellent with mainly local produce. The room was large with lovely views. We liked the ability to use the refrigerator and microwave oven in the dining room for use of the guests. Peace and quietness was excellent. This was altogether a wonderful place - lovely welcome, lovely room, lovely breakfast, and all managed with smiling professionalism. It really is a working farm and a lovely farmhouse, oosing comdort and very friendly in beautiful countryside, extremely peaceful . The owners were friendly and the room clean and functional. The breakfast was nice and the setting pretty and peaceful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and the setting of the farm was lovely . Friendly and clean. I'm glad I had a navigation system to get me there as it's down several country lanes, some of which had been closed due to inclement weather. No dislikes. nothing. a bit remote for our purposes. nothing. Nothing to complain about, but maybe a little tucked-away. Slightly difficult to find. mainly due to road closures. nothing.
