Lovely owners, friendly and considerate. 3 Star Accommodation at it's very best in a great location. Free parking just outside and a very easy walk to eating places, shops and a multiplex cinema. DVD player in the room was a bonus during a lazy afternoon and evening 'recharging our batteries' The shared bathroom was huge with a freestanding roll top bath plus a separate shower. The rooms were immaculately and had obviously been created with much love and attention. So much more than the bland b.

Fantastic couple, who make you feel that nothing is too much trouble for them, looking up information on the internet in response to our questions about Cheltenham. Also I agree with other comments that the poached eggs on toast for breakfast are delicious. Only a short 7 min walk to 'The Brewery' shopping centre and town centre so very accessible. Really helpful and friendly proprietor and staff, not phased by me arriving hot and road-weary on my bike (really good location for accessing the Tarka Trail). The hotel is a lovely building in excellent order also small touches, eg decaf coffee option provided with team making facilities in the room. Really great breakfast!. Very welcoming and homely, exceptionally comfortable, delicious healthy breakfast, loved the style and feel it was cottage style traditional yet modern. Very clean, nice towels. Slightly set back from the main road it was very quiet. Wonderful couple who run it very friendly, professional, accommodating and welcoming. Alice Guest House was a little oasis of beauty and peace tucked away in an ordinary looking road. I was given a warm welcome and had all I needed for an overnight stay - including a made-to-order delicious breakfast. I wished I'd been staying longer. was small, but nice and comfy house,had surprise of finding i had a four poster bed. John and Karen were both very welcoming and friendly. free wifi made it easy to keep in contact with family and friends while away. Excellent value for money with a substantial 'continental breakfast'. Initial appearances deceptive. Good, firm beds and delightful quirky décor. Excellent bathroom. I'll be staying here again. I was in the log cabin it was amazing the decor was Moroccan inspired really comfy bed and fantastic en suite nice and warm. I was welcomed and well looked after I would for certain stay again x. I loved the log cabin cosiness. I wasn't sure about them in November, but staff kindly set heating to be on a couple of hours before my return and this made for a very cosy and unique stay. The log cabin in a city was a real novelty and was warm and cosy. I got lost in the dark once in Cheltenham, but my hosts came out to find me and guide me in person to the guest house!. Individually themed accommodation, makes a refreshing change from chain hotels. Friendly owners make you feel very welcome. This was my second visit, and will definitely stay again. I liked the log cabin it was lovely and nice and private. It was great to be able to sit out on the patio in the garden, just outside the cabin. The owners were very accomodating. - Very friendly owner and wife - Accommodation was a chalet at the end of garden - which was comfortable with very good tea and coffee making facilities and en-suite. Very nice wooden en-suite room.Beautiful yard.The breakfast was lavish and served at times convenient to me according to my timetable (people were very co-operative). We had the pretty floral room which is conveniently right next to the shared bathroom, but of course you do get to hear other guests going in and out. View from the room was of a brick wall, albeit an old and characterful viaduct! However we liked the privacy and quietness that this wall gave us so close to the Centre of Cheltenham.. Parking is across the street, but this did not present a problem as only very short distance to house. We had a wonderful antique wooden four poster bed but unfortunately it creaked a bit so if you are a light sleeper could be troublesome. Nothing springs to mind; thoroughly recommended. It's about 15mins walk from the centre of Cheltenham, but then I like walking so it was fine. There's nothing I didn't like. Only criticism - there were too many nick-nacks in the room and not enough space to put anything. Washbasin not so comfortable. the area it is in doesn't look very nice. Can't think of a thing!. Problem bathroom sharing but it was a beautiful one with every facility. Perhaps isn't located in the best part of town. All brilliant. n/a. No complaints here!. There is a smell of cigarette smoke in most rooms and personally I dislike the smell of cigarette smoke. Slightly cold inside the room (February), even with radiator on full power. Nothing. it was all fine. Breakfast. It wasn't full breakfas- cereal, croasants fruit first day, only cereal +croasant second day. Bath no plug,apparently on order from france. Nothing. No parking area on site, however, there are side roads to park. Shared bathroom and parking. Nearest pubs and takeaways are in a rather grotty area. Town centre is beyond this. not given info when asked if I could bring my child was not told no bed for him. When I complained later by email the owner rang me at home and shouted at me that I had a bad attitude and it was my fault.
