Warm welcome from owners, you girl serving breakfast was delightful. I read on some reviews people commenting on rooms being small. Why do you need space! Our room was on the small side but the view from our window more than compensated . Spotlessly clean. Will use this guest house again.
The Glenartney was spotless and served a delicious breakfast. It was handy for the ferry and was near the water.
We took the bus from Arran to Lamlash and took the ferry across to the Holy Isle which is owned and run by Bhuddist monks. It was so serene. It has it's own wildlife.alle vurderinger »
Good quality accomodation with excellent breakfasts (with plenty of choice). Proprietors very friendly and helpful.Especially like to thank them for their kind assistance during a medical emergency.
Nice smiling, friendly greeting. Very clean with cozy lounge areas. Spacious, clean breakfast room with great breakfast food. Dog friendly and immediate access to dog walks. Amazing views from room.

love arran Last minute accomodation was very good.
I found the bed a bit on the hard side but everyone's different.
Lighting in bedroom inadequate for reading.(but this seems to apply to many hotels/guest houses these days).
Two of us in family room (due to no other rooms being available I presume) and it had bunk beds which made the room seem very claustrophobic - certainly would not of been enough room for family storage.
parking was a bit tight.

Notices put in strategic points telling travellers not to eat own food and drink and make sure you leave the bath clean. Most people staying there were able to afford the drinks at the bar etc - notice not appropriate for type of clientèle.
