This former blacksmiths home was converted into pub in 1860s. It is located in the village of Felinfach, and has picturesque views of the Black Mountains. There is ample free parking on site. Each room at Plough and Harrow has a carpeted floor and traditional wooden furnishings. Rooms also feature a TV and facilities for making tea and coffee, and a full cooked breakfast is served in the morning. Plough and Harrow is 10 minutes’ drive from Brecon, and on the edge of the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park. A range of walking and cycling routes are available nearby. Guests can go sailing on Llangorse Lake, around 4 miles from the building. The stunning surroundings are also ideal for birdwatching and fishing.

we couldn't fault the Plough and Harrow. The owners were lovely, very helpful. The pub was quiet, clean and cosy and the food was very good. We loved the dog JJ who was a real character. All in all a fantastic break away in a beautiful setting and we had fantastic weather to cap it all. We will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family... . Absolutely wonderful bed and breakfast. The staff are really friendly, they made us feel at home. The location was perfect, it was close to all the attractions of the Brecon beacon I.E. pen y fan. I would recommend this b&b to anyone who wanted to visit the Brecon Beacons. Also the food was superb! Definite a+.
alle vurderinger » Have just got back from a 2 night stay at the Plough and harrow, was very welcoming through the stay , sue went out of her way and prepared a packed lunch as we couldn't make breakfast. The breakfast the next day was at a very high standard. Staff at the plough and harrow were excellent and customer aftercare second to none as I managed to leave behind some clothing and they posted this to me promptly which was gratefully received. Excellent Service. Also LOVE your dog!. The whole stay was great no problems at all. the landlady was so good with little extra touches And we had the suite so to have a seperate room to sit in was great. Friendly atmosphere. Attentive staff. Breakfast excellent. All meals very good. Near to good bike rides and walks. Peaceful and relaxing location. Spotlessly clean,well maintained,friendly and very pleasant hosts and JJ the dog. Good breakfast freshly cooked. Good atmosphere in the bar. Friendly, well run pub with comfortable, good sized room and excellent breakfast. Its about a 5 mile drive into Brecon. the people were very welcoming and really nice and the service was great. the breakfast was lovely and enjoyed the stay. It was really great, lovely restful room, lovely food, very tasty with fresh veg. very helpful friendly proprietors. Very friendly, tasty home-cooked food with local ingredients, pleasant room. Would have liked wifi. nothing. A minor point but could have done with some drying space for walking boots etc given the wet weather. the location was just out of the way of anything and to go anywhere would have to drive. Bed much too hard for our liking - others may find it OK. Noisy door latches and sanitation. you cannot flush the loo at night - the system will wake your spouse. Nothing. Nothing. Uncomfortable bed. The fact that we didn't have time to stay longer!. Nothing. We only stayed one night and was kept awake due to the fellows in the bar and talking outside after closing till very late.
