Lovely hotel...Well presented, Very clean, Facilities in room were fab (Flat screen TV, Hairdryer, Tea/Coffee making facility, Fresh clean towels, Laundry service and in Bathroom Large walk in shower with Free shower gel, shampoo and conditioner) Would recommend!! :). I liked the comfort of the room.. The bed was lovely and comfy and it was very clean. The staff were all polite and very professional. Easy booking. Good location - away from noise but close enough to the town centre.
alle vurderinger » Great price! Close enough to walk to bullring and new street. Modern, clean hotel with lovely rooms and communal areas. Quiet despite being on the main road. Far more than I expected for a 3 star hotel at this price :). The polite staff...The decor was modern. ..The breakfast area was immaculate and the food was top notch....there is a car park one minute away free from 6pm til 8am....70p for two hours if needed. .. The fact that when we got into the room about 10 minutes later we got a courtesy call from reception. The food availability was good. The 24 hours services were a really good idea. Great price for Hilton quality. Clean rooms, good furniture. Fairly decently positioned. Very good overall impression apart from the breakfast (see cons). The two receptionists were exceptional, friendly, helpful and knowledgable, a real asset to the hotel. The hotel is very well designed and comfortable. Spotlessly clean. 24hr confectionary at reception with reasonable prices not an overpriced vending machine. Very contemporary rooms. the staff were excellent, very witty!!! and friendly!! the room was very modern and posh!! and elegant, will defo stop here again. Very helpful friendly staff. Equipment in the room. Quiet at night. We have used before and will definitely use again. Staff were extremley friendly and helpful. Excellent facilities in the room. Breakfast was included. Nice and comfortable, friendly staff. I loved the laptop lap rest for when you are in bed. everything about this hotel was great experience, and very reasonable price too :-). The hotel is like most other Hampton by Hilton's that I have stayed in, great facilities and fantastic value for money. bed so comfy, shower nice and hot and the shower gel is nice. Clean room and bathroom. Only a couple of issues...Car Parking (Abit confusing with what we had to do in terms of parking as hotel doesn't have own parking) however we did manage to sort it in the end! Another minor issue was Breakfast time - Very busy and Buffett food wasn't being replenished as quickly as hoped, also could have done with more choices due to me being Gluten Intolerant! (Only ate Bacon & Egg) but hey it was Free so who am I to complain?. Bathroom lock didn't work.. Didn't say anything about it as we were a couple and didn't really matter. No parking but not a major problem as we found some cheap parking near by. No dislikes! Not the hotel's fault but I will warn other travellers there are two Hampton by Hiltons in Birmingham! And this one seems to be less well known as it is new ... make sure you tell the taxi driver the address or you may end up at the wrong one like us!. Apart from inconsiderate guests nothing else was wrong hotel. Breakfasts is to British. Bacon, beans, etc. Of you're more of a fruit person, it's tough. Scrambled eggs and coffee were awful. Nothing. Bed was very firm which made for an uncomfortable night. we didnt have a duvet!!?? dont know if they forgot to put one on, we just had a very thin sheet, but weather was hot so didnt matter, but didnt ruin our time and would definatly stop again, just weird to have not duvet. You need to be down early if you want the full range of options for breakfast - no bananas and only one bruised apple left by 8.15. Nothing. Everything was good. My room had a tiny window and no much light at all during the day. nothing!!! Loved the place. The dereliction of many of the old buildings in Hockley and the Jewellery Quarter. Parking was a bit of an issue. Would have like a bath !!. A good walk from Broad Street Walked into our room and someone else was in there...?. No secure parking. nothing. door card most time not working, hotel check in system need be improved. The location is a little way out from the centre on a busy road and a rail track behind it. I wouldn't recommend single ladies or old people walking to and from the city, as there are a lot of dark streets at night and it's not in the most affluent area. There is no on site parking and the local car park isn't manned or the street parking across the road is poorly lit. breakfast was better on the 2nd morning both mornings we were disturbed by knocking on the door even though we had do not disturb sign on the door, and had late checkout on the Sunday. the air-condition sometimes went off. The windows in the room can't be open The staff were polite except one of them was a bit not professional in dealing with the visitors politely I would rate it as a 3 star hotel.
