Brocks Guest House - Bilder
Hva folk sier
Brocks is a really lovely Guest house. Four of us stayed in the lovely top floor family room from which you can see the famous Crescent and the Circus. The décor was so pretty throughout the whole house and the attention to detail was amazing. The lounge was beautifully decorated for Christmas complete with a sparkling tree. We had a full English breakfast (Included in the price) which was delicious. We only stayed one night but really wanted to stay longer. Karen and Rachel made us feel so wel. alle vurderinger »
We received a warm welcome from Karen and her daughter Rachel. Our room was at the top of the house but well worth the climb. It was exceptional, very clean, very comfortable and the attention to detail was superb. We had a choice of breakfast dishes which were served to a very high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt totally relaxed. The house is in a fantastic position as everything is within easy walking distance.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Brocks Guest house .
Brocks Guest House was fantastic. It was one of the cheaper B&Bs I looked at, but ranked far above others which were more expensive. The house is absolutely beautiful; lovingly maintained. The owners were great, very friendly and experienced and were very accommodating of our quite early arrival time, parking requirements and didn't blink when we messed up the seating plan at breakfast ;-) A lovely place to stay, in a fantastic Bath location. I would recommend to all my friends and family!.
Great location. Parking pass made it possible to park right outside. Staff friendly and welcoming. Comfortable rooms not huge but good towels, range of teas biscuits , relaxed and inviting. Good choice of breakfast options. Didn't use downstairs sitting room but looked comfortable and well furnished. Would definitely book again.
Loved the fact that the B&B reflected the elegance of Bath itself. Attention to detail which included appropriate furnishings and decor as well as fresh flowers and chocolates in the reception area. Staff were lovely, the position was great. Everything was spotless and comfortable. Nice to be able to open the window right up.
I loved the location, the view from our room was incredibly uplifting, the breakfasts were delicious, the staff's friendliness and helpfulness was outstanding, the info available to help us on our stay was plentiful, the products provided (in bathroom and tea making bits) were very good. Fab hotel and would recommend to friends!.
The best stay at a guest house ever. Lovely room in a beautiful building and top notch service and attentiveness. Thank you Rachel and Karen for your kind help with my friends hen do room preparation, it was a great success :) Thanks for sorting the flowers and bear card!. Missing your delicious breakfasts already! 10/10.
The owners made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The accommodation was quaint, stylish and very comfortable. The lounge and breakfast room were very homely - and breakfast was delicious. We only stayed for one night -wish we could have stayed for longer! Hopefully we will have the opportunity to go back!.
Perfect location in Bath between the Circus and Royal Crescent. Accommodation- very comfortable, clean and chic. Breakfast was lovely - good choice and delicious. But what made it stand out was the kindness and efficiency of the staff - Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you will definitely be revisiting.
Greeted by friendly helpful staff, public rooms beautifully set out and
very welcoming. Room delightful, with comfortable bed and newish
ensuite, all a bit small but it's a very old building and
they've done a good job of the space. Good breakfast. Location right
near best period areas. Loved it.
Friendly hosts and made to feel very welcome. Able to use the B and B parking permit to park in the d'être of bath. Great location between the circle and the crescent. Excellent recommendation from hosts on where to eat and appreciate bath (and they kindly booked it so we got a discount too).
It is a beautiful Georgain House, in a brilliant location. Staff are lovely and very helpful. The rooms are pretty and quite spacious. So easy to walk to shops, restaurants etc. the parking notice is very good for guests. Breakfast is good. Sitting room is comfortable. All very clean.
Friendly and helpful staff. Free parking permit for guests. Excellent location for sightseeing. Lovely room and facilities with comfortable bed. Fabulous breakfast, plenty of choice, everything fresh and perfectly cooked. Would not hesitate to recommend and will stay here again.
Beautifully furnished, efficient and helpful staff, and we received a "snack pack" for the morning as we had to leave before breakfast for the airport. (also dried my husband's shirt on the line)! Would definitely stay again.
The staff were excellent friendly without being overbearing. The room was great, comfortable, spotless and I've never stayed anywhere before where the bathroom is supplied with pump action shower, hand wash and body lotion.
Very friendly hosts who were very knowledgable on the history of the house and surrounds. Very interesting area of Bath to stay and easy walking distance to all areas of the town. On the open top sightseeing bus route.
Friendliness and helpfulness of Karen - genuine interest in her guests. Our family ran a guest house on the corner of this street and the Circus a hundred years ago - just 2 doors up. It was a sheer delight.
The comfort and cleanliness and amenities provided in the room (Room 3 is excellent)
The location is in a nice quiet area but only a few minutes walk away from numerous attractions and quality eateries/pubs.
place beautifully decorated. don't expect have a bath tub. the room is comparatively big. staff is really nice and helpful.
breakfast is excellent. there is a nice restaurant just next to the hotel.
Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and fantastically decorated on a romantic side. We had to make a request for an early breakfast which was accommodated.
I had a very comfy room, even though it was small. The bathroom
facilities were modern and the whole place was well kept. The atmosphere
was friendly and the staff most helpful.
Pleasant, friendly staff (only met one and she was very good). Good, quiet location. Nice, clean, simple room with plenty of space, very comfortable bed and good bathroom.
Lovely atmosphere- Typical Georgian building modified into a guest
house, but very tastefully done. Very helpful welcoming staff. Lovely
location central yet quiet.
Very clean comfortable rooms. Excellent service from helpful staff. Good
location. Excellent breakfast, the best we had on 3-week trip through
the uk and Ireland.
Small intimate guesthouse. Each room has its own character. The breakfasts are very good. The location is excellent, between Royal Crescent and The Circus.

Bedroom/bed very comfortable and clean
Tea making facilities excellent
Breakfast good
Excellent value for money.
The location was perfect. The hotel itself was pleasant. The room was a
good size. It was also extremely convenient they provided free parking.
The pre ordering of breakfast choices. A very quiet location, but not far from city attractions. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
We were welcomed when we arrived with a cup of tea. The breakfast was great, plenty of it and cooked well. In a lovely setting. Lovely people.
Very friendly and welcoming.
Helpful and accommodating.
lovely and Authentic bath town house.
Gorgeous breakfast.
Throughly enjoyed our stay!.
The owners were the kindest most helpful you could wish for. The beds were fab and the breakfast faultless. I have already booked to return.
The location was superb. The staff were so friendly and the room was comfy. Breakfast was more than enough. Can't wait to return soon.
Karen and Rachel were wonderful hosts. Everything about our stay was exceptional.
Bath is a delightful old city, well worth visiting.
Very friendly staff. Ideal location, for shopping or just being near the centre of Bath.We would definiently use this B and B again.
Very pretty, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. I liked the location, close enough to walk to everything, but still quiet.
Friendly, helpful, great breakfast, comfortable room (Room 7), 15 min walk to train station uphill coming, downhill going.
Lots of nice touches, very accommodating staff. Comfortable and well-decorated rooms, moving us into extra room.
very good breakfast, comfortable rooms, excellent location & very welcoming owners & staff will be back.
Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and fantastically decorated on a romantic side.
Caring staff attention to my needs, knowing I would be tired when I arrived. Nothing too much trouble.
Lovely bright airy room, extremely friendly welcome. A lovely place to stay in a fantastic location.
The proprietors were very helpful and the B&B was in a great location for sightseeing.
The location of Brocks house, easy to walk into town and close to all attractions.
Clean well-kept rooms, excellent and friendly service, very tasty breakfast.
Location was excellent. Welcome was lovely. Room was comfortable and clean.
Helpful staff, breakfast good nothing was too much trouble. Recommended.
Lovely ambience
excellent breakfasts
super friendly and attentive staff.
The location and ambience of the house + the friendly owners and staff.
Loved everything about Brock's Guest House. Perfect place to stay.
Large clean rooms. Nice view. Near the Royal Crescent in Bath.
Absolutely nothing.
there was nothing not to like.

The only reason I would not give Brock's full marks is the size of the shower. It would really be a squeeze for a large person. Even then, I think I am being a little harsh as these beautiful old buildings have tiny proportions compared to the expectations of today. Also quite a number of stairs, as you would expect, but may be an issue for less nimble people.
Bed a little lumpy and springy, shower not very forceful, blind/curtain not really sufficient to block out sun. All minor points that for a 3 night stay barely bothered me.
The water flow to the shower in our bathroom was very poor. Needed more 'oomph' to give you a refreshing start to the day.
Nothing.
Wifi strong in public rooms and some bedrooms but his and miss in room
4, needs to be addressed.
The only critism was our bed was very firm so we did not sleep well.
We found our bed rather too hard (room 3). The shower is not too good. I think the quality of the sheets and towels is poor. Need to be better quality, newer towels and sheets, and larger towels. No soap in the bathroom. Need wifi in rooms, which is being fixed.
Nothing really, i guess the only slight moan was the climb to the top room (only because the weather was really hot!!). Would prefer a room further down the house, mainly because I'm tall and the room had a slanted ceiling.
There was nothing that we didn't like.
Parking could be a problem. We were very lucky and got one right outside but I imagine it could be more difficult at busier times of the year. A free parking permit is given on your arrival which is really good.
All good.
Wouldn't be that good a place to stay if you have a car with you, as nearest public parking is a bit of a distance away and totally out of sight.
location a bit off the town centre. need to walk a quite slope back to hotel from the shopping area.
parking can be a problem for hot season. no lift.
The stairs are a killer but in older houses in Bath that's par for
the course. There could be more fruit variety for breakfast.
Breakfast a bit disappointing.
Parking off street on a Saturday afternoon was a nightmare so we used
nearby city car park rather than trail the town endlessly for a space.
This option was reasonable in cost- (coming from Brighton where parking
costs a small fortune).
Nothing.
Shower small
Plumbing/toilet required upgrading.
We had to leave early morning and there was no central heating and the
hot water wasn't switched.
Although nicely done and with good intention, carrying luggage downstairs was made difficult by the staircase furniture, we were on the 2nd floor. The dining room was a little restricted for space.
It was a bit of a walk from centre of Bath (and up hill) but the guest house was in a delightful part of Bath - very historic.
Not a thing it was perfect.
Wifi in the lobby only, not in the rooms. the walk from downtown is up a hill.
Room rather cramped (although we did appreciate being given extra room).
problem finding parking space even with permit but not guest house fault just very busy in central bath.
Shortage of available parking within the vicinity.
Can't think of anything.
Nothing.
Bathroom was a little tired. Bacon at breakfast was very tasty. Could have done with one more ingredient to fill it out.
