so well located, visiting Renishaw hall, Cauldwell Mill, Matlock, beautifull scenery,Bakewell, all near by.Dusty Miller's,very friendly, Adrian, and family, couldn't do enough to make are stay a happy and comfortable one. also good menu, plus carvery, great entertainment, at night. thanks to all, for a great weekend,which was our 27th wedding anniversary,hope to see you all again soon. alle vurderinger » The staff were fantastic, very friendly and attentive to your needs. Food was great and extremely good value for money. Even though the rooms are small they are clean and modern. It is a very nice place to stay. Very convenient for access to the M1. Very friendly team. Nothing was too much trouble. Location is brilliant - just off the M1 but tucked away down a village road. Great for Sheffield and the Peak District, and Leeds is only a half hour away. Only stayed for one night on way home from visiting relations. All good, comfortable, friendly...just what we wanted. Topped off by a good breakfast, too! Would highly recommend this place. Good parking. Modern, clean bedroom with on-suite facilities. Wide "no-nonsense" menu, plus a carvery. Family business with friendly attitude. Live entertainment in bar on some nights. Clean and functional, the manager was friendly and the food and real ale were good quality and reasonably priced, within walking distance to the village centre and it's pubs. The owner, Adrian, was extremely helpful and bent over backwards to sort out our stay. Food was excellent and good value. Good location just off the motorway. A very convenient location for a stopover, just of the motorway but village based. Very friendly service and good value. The staff were very good free entertainment on the night we stayed good bar good food nice breakfast would stay again. Friendly staff and good food. staff were friendly , room was small but clean, full English breakfast was plentiful. Good location at a reasnoable price. Nothing whatsoever to complain about. No lift, but I didn't expect one. (I have a blue badge.) A visitor who wasn't expecting live entertainment in the bar might feel rather overwhelmed; but it is advertised. The only thing i could fault was the window in my room was only single glazed and was a bit draughty. No hot water on last morning but this was thought to be due to a guest leaving a hot tap running all night and not the fault of the hotel. Very hot weather so a cold shower was not a problem!. The room was clean and tidy, however the bed was not very comfortable. It would have been helpful to have had breakfast earlier so we could continue our journey. Breakfast started at 8:15 and we were asked to put this back to 8:30. Room could have been a bit warmer extra heater was put in room It was a bitterley cold night outside . The snow. Bed a bit uncomfortable, but only stayed one night. Single room was a bit small and could have done with a chair. Shore could have been hotter. The room was the smallest double I have ever seen and I stay in hotels every night. Coupled with the shower in room 3 didn't work so I bathed in the tiny sink, yuck. Very tight shower. No heating in the bathroom made it very chilly so never had a shower, the mattress was a bit lumpy. Not much room around the bed and unfortunately the heating didn't come on in the morning of my last day. It can be noisy when the pub below is busy. The Inn closed at 9 pm except for the nights when they had entertainment, during our weeks stay this was on Thursday and Saturday. Room 3 shower was a trickle of water. On both days at breakfast I asked for brown sauce which was served in a ramekin dish with a thick dry skin on the surface ! ugh. Quite small and basic.
