Set in the Upper Swansea Valley, in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Pentre offers bed and breakfast accommodation, an on-site riding stables and trekking centre, and free Wi-Fi for all guests. The bedrooms are light and spacious and have a shower. Each includes a digital TV and a DVD player, and guests can also enjoy tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms are provided with a fan and small refrigerator. A traditional breakfast, made using locally sourced ingredients, is served every morning. Guests can have lunch and dinner at local pubs, and there is a restaurant just 300 metres away. Set directly opposite Craig-y-Nos Castle, Pentre Riding Stables is a 45-minute drive from Swansea. Neath Railway Station is a 15-minute journey by car. Pentre Riding Stables is also just down the road from the Dan-yr-Ogof National Showcaves of Wales.

This is a little out of the way and not easy to get to with public transportation, but we were extremely happy we made the effort to stop here. We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house and rooms were clean, comfortable, and incredibly charming. The hosts were very nice and friendly, and breakfast was delicious and they are able to accommodate vegetarians. This is part of a working stables and it was very nice to get a more genuine experience and it felt less touristy than a big city. .
alle vurderinger » A great welcome, Friendly, Clean, Would have stayed longer but we was booked in across the road at the Craig y nos castle which i'm sorry the rooms are not worth the money at £150 per night but this B & B is 100% Worth the money for £65 per night so me and my husband recommend this totally. The View and all Surrounding Landscape within the countryside is great relaxing, The owner is very kind and helpful including her daughter who is very kind to ride the horses with my kids around the area, Kids love it. So thank you so much for the great hospitality. As we were attending a wedding at the Craig y nos castle the location was perfect with only a 1 minute walk to the castle, our room was cosy, clean and comfortable and the staff were lovely. *The staff were very accommodating and kind hearted. *Couldn't be closer to the Craig Y Nos Castle - would recommend for convenience. *Car parking availability. * Budget friendly. Lovely host and friendly staff - even arranged transport on our behalf to a local function, ensuring that we had a lift home at end of evening . & a Lovely breakfast !. Very clean accommodation, we stayed here as we had a wedding in craig y nos...this was far nicer, i would recommend this B&B it was Fab.... Thank You Karen and all.. Hospitality excellent. It is an ideal place to relax. Breakfast was very good. Horse riding is an experience you do not want to miss. The staff were so friendly & we had a great breakfast. The bed was so comfortable & our room was lovely & so clean. Great customer service made you feel really welcome. Fantastic location for weddings held at the Castle across the road. A very welcoming lady, very easy to stay with young children, big family rooms!. Fabulous surroundings and the roos were completed to an excellent standard. It was next to Craig Yr Nos Castle where the wedding was taking place. The staff were very friendly and keen to assist/helpful. Very friendly, big room, stunning area, clean. Spacious rooms, great service and good price. The location and the people. Everything. Room was big. Hard to get to, not very easy to find the town if you are unfamiliar with the area. Not much to do in the immediate area, you definitely need a car to get around. The only Criticism would be the parking as their is not enough. Nothing. Their wasn't a bad point whilst we were staying. *Could be made more modern. *£60 Rooms differ in size and facilities. Nothing to complain about. Nothing. Having to leave after an excellent stay. Just a minor point but the wifi didn't work in my room and I was next to the hub. Left an item of clothing behind and had no response from the text I sent. Perhaps its in the post!. Nothing!. Bed was a bit small but still very comfortable and a great room. No internet in room. No information in room.
