I had a very large room , excellent wifi , the owner couldn't do enough for u . Electric shower , worth remembering if ur visiting in the winter months . Iv stayed in aprox 9 pensions , this us one of the best in this price bracket . -

This is the first time in my life that I enjoy to have stayed in the hostel was located. In the garden of orange trees, turtles, flowers, greenery and cadirvan was like a paradise. The staff were excellent - even switched the aircon on in the room before we arrived to make sure it was cool Nice meals (and cheap) if you want to eat there. The manager was very pleasant and helpful, and the pension is right in the middle of the Old Town. Shops, bars restaurants and the harbour are all within a few minutes walk. Food and drinks are reasonably priced too.
The Dedekonak is 170 years old. Very authentic, although the winding stairs need some careful navigating after a few drinks!

We enjoyed this hotel very much. Owner very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in lovely garden. Good coffee (sometimes difficult to find in Turkey). We were there in summer, but somehow our room was cool despite very high temp.s, we didn't even use the air conditioning at night. Rooms overlooking garden are great on weekend nights (quiet despite noise from street). I'd definitely stay there again.
