  Very convenient location, beautiful hotel and friendly and competent staff. The room was very comfortable, and there was a nice rain shower in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was very nice and varied, as was the hotel dining. The breakfasts were excellent with a comprehensive range of cuisines. I was attending a conference in another hotel but chose to stay at the Intercontinental. Unfortunately I did not therefore have time to use the pool, spa or other hotel facilities. The concierge was extremely helpful in assisting us with last minute shopping information, restaurant information and with any enquiry we had.

  We booked a suite for our family of four and were entitled to use the premium lounge. Service staff were excellent, always attentive, helpful and accommodating. Buffet breakfast was a wide selection which helped given we had two picky toddlers. Platinum Mall, Centralworld, big c and patnip plaza are all 5 min walk distance. At night, there are plenty of food stalls in the vicinity so we never went hungry. In all, will stay here again for my next visit to Bangkok.

  It was our second stay. It is a well managed 5 star facility with ample space both in the room as well as in the public areas. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The Kid's Club is thanks to its warm hearted staff just wonderful, our son loved going there. We enjoyed breakfast and the pool a lot.   location breakfast room was light and user friendly with good ventilation in the bathroom wifi was great air conditioning was great - My brother unfortunately left a bag in the taxi. The amount of time and effort they showed to track his belongings down was amazing.
