  Fantastic setting and location for a relaxing break. We came here after several nights in the city of Chiang Mai so it was a welcome change. The setting amongst the trees is very nicely done, the hammocks, swings and lighting by the beach is a nice touch too. Rooms were comfortable and kept very clean. The beach, though not as picture perfect as o... hva folk sier » thers, is only shared by about 4 other resorts. As we were here during low season, we essentially had the beach all to ourselves! Great views too. - We adored the understated yet luxurious beauty. The privacy of our lovely villas and plunge pool, yet proximity to excitement on Koh Chang Island was a perfect combination. The staff were always responsive and welcoming and the ambience was beautiful. Nok the massage therapist was highly skilled in all types of massage therapy, especially accu- pressure. We had 6 different spa treatments, all wonderful.

  We had a great time at the Orchid. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The Ordchid is located at Bailan Bay - a very small village along the main road. It is a very quiet area with a couple of stores and restaurants. If you are planning to rent motorbikes - it is easy to get around, we didn't though because of the steep roads. I just wouldn't prefer - The staff is excellent ,helpfull,very well educated ,nothing is too much for them , you feel welcome and part of their family . Rooms are in every price-range nice and cosy , the restaurant menu is very variable and excellent quality ! Defenatly recomandable !! Special thanks to pieter and mister bond !!!!
