The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the manager, who was very flexible with letting us check in a day earlier at the same rate. They even put us in a deluxe room instead of the standard one that we booked, because we were too early and the maid hadn't finished cleaning the standard room.

Bupa Montra was under renovation, so they gave me a room at their
partner hotel, called Bupa Tara. It was close to the center and the
stuff was very helpful and friendly.
For breakfast, the "ham" was actually bologna, and the "sausage" was actually a cheap hot dog—both tasteless without using ketchup. This is very common in Thailand, but I sometimes forget.
