  It's very conveniently located for the Sunnegga/Rothorn funicular and Gornergrat train. The staff were very kind and helpful to my elderly parents. Excellent buffet breakfast - really very good for this category of hotel. The pine bar area and restaurant are simply and attractively styled.   The staff in the Arcare building were very friendly and helpful. Room cleaning and maintenance were punctual and efficient. Front desk staff were very helpful. Restaurant was good and waiting staff friendly and attentive. Hotel bar was good for meeting and chatting with other guests with a very nice and friendly barman in charge. A 5 minute walk to rent skis/sports shop, and another 5 minutes to the Sunneggabahn funicul - 1 min walking distance from train station. Spacious room with a couzy sofa and an armchair, huge balcony for a five o'clock tea; nicely designed bathroom with a window. Slippers/bath gown. Swmming pool, sauna, solarium - all very nice.

  Location is good. Ten minutes walk to the Zermatt Railway Station. Hotel provides free pick-up service. Located at a quiet corner of Zermatt. Seems that every room has a balcony. You can enjoy the view from your balcony while having lunch. Room was big (European Standard) and clean. We booked at a very special price (68chf per night for 2 people.)... hva folk sier » since the hotel posted the wrong price. Eventually, the hotel still honored the reservation which is something unlikely to happen in country. Very im - The hotel is a bit rough at the edges but the room I got was clean and quite comfortable. It is very well located close the the church square and basically in smack middle of everything. The staff is friendly and accommodating when it comes to very early breakfasts, etc.

  Hotel is ideally located near ski lifts. Staff was friendly and attentive and offers free shuttle service to and from train station. The room was comfortable, quiet, warm and clean and the view left us speechless. Included breakfast offered a good variety of choices, including dried meats, a local specialty. The view is absolutely UNBEATABLE. You are practically on the Matterhorn. The gondola silently glides almost overhead from time to time offering excellent photos. I'm not sure if the view is better from the room or the restaurant/breakfast room.

  We were 13 nights in the hotel and had a fabulous time. It is a very nicely renovated hotel, modern but very user friendly. Rooms are spaceous and nicely decorated. Sauna was very complete for a hotel sauna. Massage should be pre booked in winter but are very good and can be recommended. Dinner was excellent as well as breakfast.
