  This Hotel is a lovely old hotel in a beautiful setting on the Avenue of Flowers. As i was quite ill, I needed a doctor and one was provided for me in very short time. I was very impressed with the attention I received, and although I mostly saw only the inside of the room, and the dining room, due to my illness, I loved my stay at the Grand Hotel ... hva folk sier » Excelsior. The room great, and the view spectacular. - A great old Victorian Hotel with excellent facitlities, large rooms, lake view, free internet and movies, would definitely stay again.

  Staff were friendly and helpful without being in anyway superior. The atmosphere was relaxed with a personal touch, I felt as if I was a VIP without the anonimity of many corporate hotels. Food was good and they did well to provide vegetarian alternatives for me, breakfsts were amazing! - Free and working(!)   I actually stayed in Royal Plaza which I think is connected to Villa Toscane. Rooms were excellent and spa facilities excellent. - usage of the pool and welness facilities in the montreux palace across the road for free.
