  The service is no doubt "top notch". We were offered a ride to our restaurant nearby in their "in house" RR Phantom 6.. Now that's a treat.! I also liked that the mini bar is complimentary. Now that is really a good gesture as we are already paying top prix for the night. It was a lovely hotel with great views.. We needed a dentist while there and they arranged everything with the best dentist in town. We are planning our return trip for this winter.

We were very surprised by the gesture because this is the first time happening for us since we are in a budget tour. The hotel is modern looking yet retain the feel of the past.   Wonderful old hotel, completely refurbished to a very high standard. The staff were friendly, helpful and utterly delightful. Excellent buffet breakfast served in lovely surroundings. Free WiFi throughout the hotel, with a strong and reliable signal in the bedroom.   We arrived on the Glacier Express from Zermatt and the hotel has a phone link at the station so we called for someone to collect us (6 people). A small bus came very quickly and took us to the hotel which is situated in the centre of town.
