  A nice friendly hotel with an excellent breakfast and good selection for dinner. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the farm yard next door. Every night we sipped wine while we watched the animals interact. It was great fun. The free town bus stops within a block of the hotel so getting around Kandersteg was convenient. We will certainly ... hva folk sier » stay there next time we visit Kandersteg. - I took a dorm bed (backpacker) and was very pleased with the accommodation. The owner prepared a very early breakfast especially for me, as I needed to go early, which was really nice.

  I have arrived the hotel after midnight. But the staff was waiting foronly us. And he explained all about trip and gave documents for the trip(map, timetable for train, other guildlines...) at that time. - The reception was warm and the owners extremely nice and friendly.
