  Convenience of location next to the station was excellent, breakfast room was very atmospheric and breakfast selection was superb, rooms had a nice cosy feel and best use of space, staff were very hospitable, rate was excellent including breakfast, we will definately stay there every time we visit Basel! - Room was delightful, hotel very close to S... hva folk sier » BB and also close to city transportation.   Everything !. I forgot some clothes which I thought I'll never see again. I called the Basel from Zermatt and they told me that they were . I asked them to send them on and to charge me. On arrival in st.moritz I found my clothes(shipped overnight express,) with a warm note and at no charge ! That's customer service and friendliness, in addition t... hva folk sier » o having stayed in a most comfortable, functional, well located and moderately priced hotel.. The Basel delivered over and above. If we ever return to - Good location; stayed for 2 nights to visit Christmas Market. Staff were friendly and helpful. Close to key markets, museums, and room came with public transport pass. We had two good meals at the restaurant and found the breakfast typical of a good European hotel. I don't know where the others ate. Excellent coffee served with warm milk.
