My luggage key was lost and I went to inform the reception on 16 Dec 2010.
She readily came up with me,tried with her keys and tried to open the padlock. As it could not be done,she got another guy, who actually cut my padlock and it was done in less than 15 minutes. Kudos to both the service providers. I am sorry I got their names but misplaced it somehow.

Location was good just a 5 minute walk from the main station. clean value for money, along the river side very near to the main town and market area, though we missed a kettle for tea coffe in the room Rosli didi not have a lift but we shifter to their adjacent hotel Baslertor which ahad a lift and a swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The staff was nice and easily shifter our rooms.
We booked at Rosli Guest House but had checkin done at group's nearby hotel named Baslertor. The reception staff were friendly and spoke good English and provided details on the hotel facilities.
The hotel had good wifi as well as printer access which I used to take an important printout.
The hotel was located conveniently about 10 mins walk from railway station.
Great location. Short walk from parking and the train station and across the river from Starbucks (silly americans...). Staff was great and answered all or questions. Breakfast was offered much cheaper than advertised on letsbookhotel.com, but this may vary.
1. The lady at the reception of the Baseltor (the parent hotel where you need to check in) was extremely friendly and helpful and provided us with a lot of useful info and maps and things to do.
2. The location of this place is simply excellent.

hotel name could be more prominent and a detailed map of the location of
the hotel could be provided to guide us to the hotel. Thanks. Good

Superb location. Very close proximity to the Old City of Lucerne but situated away from the hustle and bustle for peace and quiet at night. The staff were fantastic--very helpful and friendly.
Location's great, just 10 minutes away from the bahnhof, we've got an up grade and stayed in Basletor Hotel in a family room. Very nice hotel & charming staff, we enjoyed our stay very much.
Hotel very comfortable easy access to the city and very close to all landmarks staff helpful upgraded to ballestor highly recommended we had two rooms as six in our family beds and room clean.

The hotel is just beside the river and in the real center of the city, it was perfect, people were nice with us and the room was perfectly clean.

We were upgraded to a room in a Baslertor Hotel. This is much better as
there is a lift available.

1.The breakfast spread was nice but we felt it was a little overpriced.
2. No lift.. So you have to haul your luggage up the stairs...

A tight fit for four people and the room was as a pentuple. Extra beds were hide-a-sofachairs. Not bad, but if you're equally splitting the cost of the room, those with the larger bed get a slightly better deal. Not a deal-break for this room -- just be advised.
Charge of e5 for ice. The room was behind the bar which smoke could
make its way into the room and the bar was loud enough to wake me
during the night.
Breakfast was disappointing and we opted to eat at the cafe across the road less expensively for 2 out of the 3 mornings. Pastry selection was poor and of low quality. Hot drinks from machine which are less acceptable than made freshly.
Room very small and room 307 view very restricted.
Rooms were cramped. Breakfast was too expensive and the assortment of
food was poor. No laundry facility and the facility recommended by the
hotel cost $21 to wash and dry one load. Rooms are small and walls are
paper thin. No coffee maker, fridge, or microwave.
Would like a lift and aircon in rooms.
Difficult to find in a medieval, maze-like town but once found, there was no problem with parking on street close to house.

Extremely poor wi-fi signal, lack of air conditioning in the rooms and having to ring the bell at reception made for a somewhat impersonal level of service.
The room is super warm! No air-con. A fan that is working but cant feel
anything. They cram 5 beds in the room. We paid almost chf 260 per
night. (This hasnt inlude tax). So its not worthwhile to stay here.
Also, no breakfast included.

Had to chase staff to get room cleaned etc at 4pm and then only a spit and polish.
Had to wait to till 4 on weekdays to get a drink or snack.
Took 30 minutes to get room keycards changed although only said would be 30 seconds. The younger desk staff and a manager were not helpful at all.
