Uncomplicated, friendly owners went out of their way to make my stay pleasant, welcoming me from the moment I arrived and offering advice and answers to all my questions. My room was spacious, clean, and for the most part quiet. Breakfast was good, lots of fresh fruit and a good cappuccino.

Highly recommended. Proximity to railway station a big plus. The hotel provides free a travel pass which can be used on the first class public transport system - and the airport bus. - Free transport tickets for use on trams and buses. Free soft drinks. friendly and helpful. Close to key markets, museums, and room came with
public transport pass. We had two good meals at the restaurant and found
the breakfast typical of a good European hotel. I don't know where

This is a very clean and comfortable hotel with spacious rooms. It is about 20 minutes tram ride to Basel. For my liking the hotel bar could do with not closing at midnight. There is a good free Tea/Coffee making machine in the hotel lobby. I believe that this is a good hotel to stay at for both business and leisure, we would stay here again.

The hotel is very conveniently located in the hart of town and just off the banks of the Rhine river. Being a regular guest in Basel for business, it is definitely a hotel which I will be adding to my top list of possible hotels to stay at as it certainly offers value for money.
