Great location a block from the lake in the center of the pedestrian area of Ascona. Friendly, easy-going staff. Well-appointed and clean apartments with a nice balcony overlooking the inner courtyard/restaurants where we could eat al-fresco. Flexibility to check in late. It's above a bar where there was loud Italian singing until late every night. The windows were right above a pedestrian street and sometimes we were awakened by drunken passer-bys. Also, we stayed during the hotel week of the year and there was no air-conditioning.
