  I give Saman Villa a 10/10 My room had a private pool facing the ocean, just a perfect way to relax and start ur holiday. The staff are always accomadating to ur needs.   Beautiful resort, courteous staff, reasonable charges. We got early check in at no additional cost and our younger son (4 yr) was accommodated at no additional cost. Nice swimming pool. - I like everything in the hotel. All my estimations were completed - i meet the ocean, sand grand, sun, natural world, very kind people. Thank you!

  All the staff were exceptional , nothing is too much trouble, they are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a great position on the beach - which is very clean, but the sea is not really suitable for swimming which we didn't realise when booking. We ate in all the different restaurants and the food and service at all of them was very good.... hva folk sier » A very relaxing beach stay ! - We had a lovely stay at Eden Resort and Spa. Very pleased with the staff, facilities, beautiful pool, good choices of restaurants, very good spa. We would highly recommend it and we would definitely return in the future.

  Simply saying, we had a perfect holiday! The room was very spacious and clean with a big balcony. The staffs were so nice and friendly. Pool was nice and spacious with a clean and silent surrounding. The restaurant had a good menu where food was tasty and was not expensive. Though the breakfast was one we look forward to everyday. We organized all our trips within the island throug the hotel at good price and excellent service (ask for Jack ;-)). They offer shuttle tuk-tuk service to neighbouring cities at really good rate. Excellent, clean and big (6 x 12 m) swiming pool. Excellent restaurant within the hotel. Reasonable prices of food and drinks (for all week we used only hotel restaurant).

  The hotel staff was terrific. The daily breakfast was made hot when you got up, so flexible depending on your schedule for the day. The food was great for all meals. The setting was beautiful.   Mangrove Villa is a unique getaway from most other places. With only 6-7 rooms, it is private and far away from touristy traps. Situated on the side of the river and home to King Fishers and lazy Water Monitors, I could relax and refresh myself. My favourite place was sitting by the river and watch the river go by..... Be prepared to enjoy tasty and healthy traditional Sri Lankan - very quiet and isolated location, a bit of a distance to the nearest village or the beach. Hotel has its own tuktuk though. Very clean, though the non-A/C cottage I rented was rather basic. Very good food, and a very friendly and helpfull owner. An excellent choice for those who look for a quiet and peaceful retreat on the banks of the river Bentota.
