The value for money is superb.
Owners & staff are very very friendly and helpful. Also the location is great: 5 min walk from gallery cafe and other good restaurants.
The hotel is brand new so all good, but still some stuff is being built. It's been only open for 2 months.
The rooms are nice but you got to understand this is a 'no-frills' hotel. It's all very simple. But clean and nice.

The staff. They were fantastic. We've been travelling for ten months and are yet to meet people as welcoming as these. The room was great. Very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Nice bathroom. Tea, coffee and water all provided. We left at 4am to go to the airport. The manager kindly booked a taxi for us and made sure a member if staff was on reception for our early check out. Contemporary styling, clean and comfortable room. Purified water and tea and coffee in the room which is unusual anroad and a pleasant suprise. No meal options but restaurants just around the corner, including McDonalds! Manager/owner couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. Located in a side street but if you tell the taxi/tuk tuk it's near McD's, no problem.

Great location just off Galle Road so reasonably quiet for Colombo. spacious rooms with very comfy bed. water filter in room which is a nice touch. Staff were extra friendly and very. Bathroom clean with consistent hot water (even if you have to wait a little for it to come through). good value.

We stayed at Taibah Boutique Hotel, the last two nights of our trip to Sri Lanka! We stayed in a comfortable clean room. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly, and the service was superb.
It was nice to stay somewhere so crisp and modern after two weeks of being surrounded by Sri Lankan bright colours and patterns. Great bed and comfy pillows. Very helpful staff.

There weren't a whole lot of restaurant options that were walking distance, but tuk-tuk rides to the good restaurant areas were very short.
It was difficult for tuk-tuk drivers to locate the hotel, make sure to bring the address, or even better a map, when you venture out. Landmarks are also helpful. This is most likely due to the fact that this is a new hotel. Overall not a whole lot we didn't like!.

TV is not working in any of the rooms. Coffee maker provided but no socket to plug in the same. The sugar, coffee and diary whitener provided every day was wet and old, since no other option gulped it. Ne restaurant or even a coffee shop.
1. For a shower you need to call the reception. They will then switch "it" on and after ten minutes it is ready.
2. The TV offers local sinhalese channels only.
No CNN, BBC, nothing.
No glass in the windows, near a very busy noisy road. No mossie net, so on our final night we got bite so much more!!! Just not a pleasant end to our 3 week honeymoon!!.

Unfortunately the place was not clean and suffered of poor maintenance. In sum, simple overpriced.
The rooms were minimalist to the extent that the room had all the style of a converted garage with no pleasant comforts in the room at all and ours was a superior room. BUILDING WORK was going on either in the building or next door which made it impossible to relax in your room. No breakfast was available and nearly all of the programs were unavailable on the T.V. The bathroom fittings were of good quality but had never even been cleaned and were not fitted correctly.
