  Hotel Nicol's is a great hotel for a great price. It was very clean and the room was cleaned daily with fresh sheets and towels. The hotel has amazing views of the ocean and the grounds are very nice with tables and chairs outside to enjoy the sunset and a glass of wine. - The staff were very friendly and helpful.I didn't realise when booking tha... hva folk sier » t the hotel was so far (35 minute walk to san sebastian town)however with such a fantastic view and regular buses and cheap taxis it turned out to be a good choice.

  Really helpful staff! Very approachable and happy to help with questions... Because of the location I chose to hire a car, and the large car park made it very easy to use. The room was quite large and excellent value.   We have spent 2 months backpacking. We have stayed in albergues, campgrounds, monasteries,pensions and hotels and HOTEL CHOMIN has been our favourite! It isnt 4 star impersonal luxury....it is unpretentious, comfortable, quiet, near the beach and a lovely 15 min promenade walk to the city. There are bars and a huge supermarket 5 min walk up the r... hva folk sier » oad. Nowhere else have we come down to breakfast to hear peals of laughter as the host chats away to his guests..in English . He welcomed us as if we - the staff very friendly and helpful. reserved place available in the street next to the hotel for free - that is not easy to park in San Sebastian. bus stop 1 min from the hotel Great restaurant!!!
