  This has to be one of the best hotels in Europe - even in the Café, one could eat different meals for a week and not need to have the same dish again. The staff are friendly and really first-class. - I have stayed here twice, and love this hotel. It's hip, well-run, andgreat value.   This small 'casa rural' was very well equipped and even had a small gym and spa bath. The bedroom was large, spotlessly clean and supplied with a fridge and microwave. The owner was extremely friendly and provided us with information about 'things to do' in the area. It was within half an hour's drive of the port and gave us a chance to see the magnificent scenery along the northern coast of Spain. - The hostess is very charming and provides you with recommwndations for the surrounding area. There is a big garden where you may sit during your stay. And the house' kitchen can be used by guests as well which is very convenient if you by stuff in the supermarket.

  The staff were particularly helpfull especially when the remote control for my car was disabled due to the adjacent government which had a radar exclusion zone. - The room was spacious, newly decorated, spotlessly clean, and elegant. It was a great location--easy walk to the Bilbao, great tapas bars three blocks away.

  It was next to the old town which was within 10mins walk of the hotel (although up a hill on the way home). We felt the old town had a lovely buzz in the evening, very Spanish and not many tourists. The hotel was very clean, and paying 50 euros a night made the hotel extremely good value for money. The hotel is about 15-20 mins from the airport, ... hva folk sier » which costs about 25 euros. - This was a stop for convenience for us before getting the ferry early next day. It was easy to find and park and easy to get to the port in 30 minutes. The parking was secure and the room large and comfortable though a bit impersonal. Due to time restrictions we ate at the hotel which was fine.....not outstanding but quite good and suited us for the last night in Spain.
