The staff were so helpful, the stylish hotel was very comfortable and spacious and the outside views were spectacular. We even had a picnic one evening which we bought from the hotel vending machine and washed it down with the wine we had left from the previous evening's meal!! Perfect chill out place

  Fantastic hotel and owners! The beautiful small hotel is laying between two amazing natural parks (better to have a car). The hotel is perfect for people who like to hike and enjoy the quiet surroundings. The view from the large and luxurious rooms is spectacular! Randa and Kepa (the owners) are wonderful people and they will do anything to make ... hva folk sier » you feel at home. They also know a lot of the region, the history, the highlights and where to go. You can have a good breakfast and a delicious diner - This is my second time at the hotel and the owners were so lovely! I am vegetarian and they took care to prepare me special delicous vegetarian meals everyday! Kepa also showed me the vegetable patch this time. We were also invited to watch as he trimmed the sheep's coats!! The couple are really warm and welcoming. As always, the place is beautiful, a real gem :) Also renovations have been done so its bigger and nicer.

  The staff were particularly helpfull especially when the remote control for my car was disabled due to the adjacent government which had a radar exclusion zone. - The room was spacious, newly decorated, spotlessly clean, and elegant. It was a great location--easy walk to the Bilbao, great tapas bars three blocks away.

  It was next to the old town which was within 10mins walk of the hotel (although up a hill on the way home). We felt the old town had a lovely buzz in the evening, very Spanish and not many tourists. The hotel was very clean, and paying 50 euros a night made the hotel extremely good value for money. The hotel is about 15-20 mins from the airport, ... hva folk sier » which costs about 25 euros. - This was a stop for convenience for us before getting the ferry early next day. It was easy to find and park and easy to get to the port in 30 minutes. The parking was secure and the room large and comfortable though a bit impersonal. Due to time restrictions we ate at the hotel which was fine.....not outstanding but quite good and suited us for the last night in Spain.

  A great little Hotel right on the beach and with a well kept 2 mile long promanade overlooking the beach and across the water to the port area of Bilbao. Good room with a sea view and balcony but a little hiccup one day over cleaning the room with dirty/ wet towels not changed but very soon sorted out with a word at reception. Saturday and Sunday the cafeteria and outside tables were a - Fabulous location in front of beach, nicely renovated hotel with nice clean rooms, big bed, and lovely new bathrooms. What it lacks in extras, it makes up for in being clean, modern, offering a good breakfast, and a great spot in front of the beach. Parking off-season is free & easy on road running parallel to beach.
