We stayed at Hostal La Isla in august for 7 days with the half-board
service. Satisfying food - but don't expect a five stars treatment,
remember it is a hostel - daily cleaning service, aircon+wi-fi,
closeness to the touristic port, the city centre, a supermarket and a
free car parking in case you rent a car. Friendly and kind staff.

The owner was extraordinarily friendly and helpful; the double bedroom for a single person was more than adequate. Breakfast was lovely and he offered me choices of cheese and tomato on the toast - very Spanish and very nice. Location was very central but yet very quiet. Extremely good value. I will return because it's a beautiful spot and the people are so warm.

Very friendly staff, great place for relaxing with mahon and ES castell near by. Great for history lovers, the main building is very atmospheric like a museum. Totally recommend this hotel and wish we could have stayed longer

The food at the hostal bar was amazing and the hostal itself was very cosy and inviting. Definitely a great location and I would recommend it to anybody with a budget! -
It was situated near to Maó and near to es Castell also. It was a bus service.
