The historical hotel buildings themselves are beautiful. Perhaps though the most striking asset the hotel has is its staff. They were all excellent; always helpful, friendly and attentive. It's difficult to give them sufficient praise. Well done Hotel Sa Bassa, we'll certainly be visiting again.

  The staff! Very nice people. Also the location is excellent. Just few hundred meters away from noisy party-area, enough not to hear 24h drunk people screaming which is the main problem of most La Palma area. Fine beach just 3-4 minutes walking distance. Frequent bus connection to Palma centre. Next time, if possible, I'll stay there again.   Staff were ever so friendly. I was only bed and breakfast but the food was great. Room was lovely and it was very peaceful only a few mins walk to the lovely sandy beech. We stayed in the SES VOLTES Junior suite which is - Carmen & Sebastian are truly amazing hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. They adore children and accommodate all sorts of needs. We loved staying here, it was home from home and we shall miss them... The pool and gardens and estate property are spectacular, they have done so much work it is truly magical. Highly recommend staying here, Valldemossa is beautiful but great joy was had returning to this estate.

  Our room looked down the road to the sea and had a balcony which wascomfortable and roomy to sit on. Room was north facing so could stay outof the very hot sun at midday (I have fair skin) - Simple but good value for money
