  Everything. Have been staying here for over 24 years. I have always had a pleasant stay. The staff is always the same and they, of course, know me by now and have seen me come with my child since he was born (is now 12 years old). The staff is helpful and professional.   Stayed here twice..flying to Marrakech and on the return flight back to Madrid stayed overnight to fly out the next morning to the states. Very clean..had a problem with ac n after several complaints the manager moved us to a room where the ac was working. Decent food..but next door is a supermercado which is nice and we bought a bottle of Frangel... hva folk sier » ico for $12 which is much more in the states. Nice and convenient to airport and their shuttle picks you up and takes you back. Taxis have min$35 char - Breakfast was amazing starting from 4:00 am which is great for passengers taking early flights. I was given a room with poor internet connection which I really needed, when I requested another room for this reason I was given another one at once without any hassle and even the receptionist suggested if the problem persisted in the new room to tell him and he will connect me to the internet provider support directly. I was really impressed. The new room had very strong reception.

  A taxi from the area of the Prado took us to this airport area hotel, the Axor Feria, a sister to its more elegant sister hotel right next door. Taxi cost was 23.35 euro (we had two carryons and two back packs). Be aware it’s a long drive, more so with heavy commute traffic so allow time. There is a huge mall about four blocks away with mo - This hotel was located very near the airport and has a great shuttle service. Also a 5 minute walk and you are at a bus stop that takes you to the metro station. The rooms were very clean, the hotel smelled wonderful and the breakfast was good. We stayed there our 1st night in Madrid and booked it again for our last 2 nights in Madrid. Our son stayed our late one night and it's about a 20 euro taxi ride from downtown Madrid to the hotel.

  The hotel is located in the center of the city only a short two blocks from the Sol Metro station. We could walk to the major areas of interest and the Atocha train station (cab with luggage). There are dozens of tapas bars near the hotel. Finding "sit down" dinner restaurants was tougher but when we did the food was excellent.   location is more than perfect in the middle of the very live street in Madrid. you can just go down and you will see people still going walking everywhere even at 2:00pm. Staff were friendly and you can leave your luggage there after checking out.
