We found the location ideal for us. Aparthotel Rubimar is a leasurely 20 to 25 minute walk away from the main port of Playa Blanca. The walk is along the seafront, like a prominard but not in a commercial looking way. There is a market every Wednesday and Saturday just a 5 minute walk from the Hotel, well worth a visit.

Perfect location, with bars, supermarkets and restaurants only a couple of minutes walk away. Excellent room which faced the pool and got the sun all day, which was great to sit on after a day out walking or at the beach.
Everything was perfect, especially as myself and my partner were self-catering, and kitchen provided us we everything we needed.
Have already recommended the Rubimar to friends.

What a gem this place is! From the minute we arrived, we felt as though we were the only people who mattered. Dany and Joaquim who manage the reception made us very welcome. We were told the complex was fully occupied, but we saw only a few other guests and other then by the pool we heard no voices. It is a beautiful complex, stunningly maintained

The best accomodation (for leisure) I've ever had. Location: excellent if you're interested in relax and peaceful atmosphere, close to unique Papagayo beaches (15 min. walk) and ordinary Coloradamar beach for those lazy ones (2-3 min. walk) :). Two supermarkets are nearby (Roper: 2-3 min.walk, HyperDino:5-7 min.walk). Bus stop is right in front of reception. If you travel with children, the playground is 2 min.walk. I stopped staying at gay properties 15 years ago having found they were often overpriced and poorly run, so i was a liitle unsure booking this property initially. However I loved being there so much I more than doubled my stay. The property is secure, comfortable, nicely appointed, quiet, well run and was a pleasure to stay in.
