  Great location for shops and the old town. The hostal reception is lovely, though the rooms are a bit more basic and clean. If you drive there is no parking apart from in il cort ingles which will set you back 18 euros for 24hrs so add this to your price.   Located in a slightly derelict area, but felt very safe. Very handy for sights. Characterful hotel, room very comfortable, liked the L'Occitaine smellies in the bathroom! David very friendly and helpful, gave good recommends for places to eat. Free street parking nearby was a bonus. He seems to run the place pretty much single-handed, but he was always available when we needed him. The property is basically run as a B&B or as a pension, but the historic conversion, which is both sensitive and effective, gives the house much more atmosphere and soul than those descriotors might suggest.

  The family-run hostal was a delightful place to stay. I had a lovely room, with a view of the mountains, and the staff - 3 brothers and a sister, were all really friendly and helpful. I would go there again. - Excellent location and TV/air con made it a very comfortable stay. Also had a great private balcony.

  the apartment was excellent, like a five star hotel, staff were great, rooms cleaned ever day, excellent location and facilities were fantastic - Very Helpful staff and very clean and new appartment. It was agreat time there and my family loved that place.

  Our room was clean and comfortable.(appeared to be recently re-furbished); the view was towards the sea plus the mountains further down the coast. The owner Ramon was very friendly and helpful. There was off road parking for our hire car. The length of time breakfast was available meant we didn't have to rush our start to the day; there was plen... hva folk sier » ty to eat and drink plus more if we had wanted it. We hope to return and stay longer next time. - This hostal is first rate. Spotlessly clean, nice modern decor and excellent service. We paid extra for a sea view but was well worth it. Memory foam mattress, toiletries provided, clean towels daily the only thing that it didnt have was tea and coffee making facilities but in spain we know this to be normal but not a problem to us as took our own. Not surprised this is number one on trip advisor.

  Booked 3 nights and stayed 5 it was so enjoyable, lovely pool area plenty of lounge chairs, friendly staff who were very patient with us as non Spanish speaking, great restaurant (cheap drinks, great meals - go for the meal of the day a bargain at 7.50 Euro for 3 courses!), bargain priced rooms, a wonderful relaxing stay. The location is a favourite with the Spanish so we needed to work hard on our Spanish language skills.
