  An excellent experience all round. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff - Boliver on food and drink, Marcos on the local information and sightseeing tips. They were also very patient and flexible with serving the breakfat each morning - the bed was so comfy we found it a struggle to leave it! A lovely little hotel in the old town - the nicest part of Marbella (from our perspective)! Marcos and staff cannot do enough to make one's stay as pleasant as possible.   Excellent little hostal in the old part of Marbella. You dont expect much when you have booked a double room at 30 euros (stayed alone). The night before I came from a 5 star beach resort, and was happy to find a great hairdryer in my nicely sized bathroom. Better than the one I came from. Staff was supernice and friendly, free wifi, coffee machin... hva folk sier » es etc in the reception. Its 20 m from excellent restaurants and tapas bars, and 10 minutes walk from the beach in marbella. - I absolutely liked everything, it was very pleasant place to stay. The location is perfect, in the very center of the old town. Very peaceful, and charming. It was better place than many of the hotels of 3 stars i have stayed before...perfect value for money. Would definitely recommend to everyone who wants to see Marbella, to be in the hart of the center and enjoy everything what the town can offer...

  If you do your research and know that it is a non-functioning 5 star hotel, then you will know what to expect and not be disappointed. The apartments are fairly decent, large enough and cleaned daily.   Most beautiful suite (Deluxe URBAN suite), with sauna (with sea view!), swimming pool at our door step, view over beautiful Marbella, the sea, the mountains and even Gibraltar and North-Africa. At the same time close to the beach (with promenade for extensive cycling and walking) as to the maintains and to many fantastic cities. All this with love... hva folk sier » ly weather conditions. Last but not least, Linda and her team did all to provide us with fantastic service and personal care (with suggestions about - This is a beautiful house with lovely views over Marbella to the sea. A car is a must as although it is only a short drive from Marbella it is all uphill (read 1st gear all the way to the top!!). The staff were excellent and very attentive; rooms were spotless, views from the terraces spectacular; breakfasts were delicious. Linda was most helpful with advice on where to eat, what to see - a truly lovely person.
