What a cool place! If it's available, ask for the basement room: it's a huge converted cellar with masses of space that must be really pleasant in the heat of summer (we went in Spring.) Perfect for a couple looking for something special on a budget. Couldn't be closer to the main attractions. -

The location is great, right next to the aqueduct. However, the fact that it is on a pedestrian-only street made it hard to find. We ended up parking some distance away and finding the hotel on foot. The gentleman on duty really went out of his way to help us. He came with me to the car and rode with me to show me the way to the car park, which was 14 euros for the night with the hotel discount.

Probably the cleanest place in the world. Simple straightforward place -
no frills, but so clean, cheerful, bright, and firendly staff will do
anything to help, incredible location just off aqueduct plaza and around
the corner from the best restaurant in spain. Walk to bus station.
Fantastic value. We stayed in ritzier places in all of the other cities
in spain but this little place was a favorite anyway. Not for the snobs,
but a super value and a delightful stay.

It was in a great location, very close to the bus stop which connected the AVE train sation. I was given a room with a view of the local church which I had asked for in advance. The staff were very warm and friendly and helped with tips before I arrived. It was also very homely and traditional and extremely clean. There was a handy vending machine

Extremely helpful staff, able to speak several languages, but very patient and helpful with my modest Spanish. We went to Segovia to see the aqueduct and Don Jaime is in the perfect spot. True, parking is a bit tricky, but the receptionist took time to walk us up there and gave us great directions for driving to it.

Hospedaje Bar El Gato was conveniently located close to the aqueduct and old town. The combination of the room and bar downstairs was excellent value for money. There was even a fridge in the room - the first we'd had on our travels.We loved our stay in Segovia.
